Although, I feel like what she’s doing is making angels become puppets once more and that’s something that I can’t let happen.”

“I’m glad you are happy with your name.”

“Well I can assure of the puppet master won’t be getting this little pinocchio to dance to her beat. If she ever throws you into a dungeon I will be sure to give you a spoon to dig yourself out. Thinking about it that winged asshole may just need to have a little shake up.”

“Humanity? Why do I have a hard time believing you?” The redhead eyed his hand for a moment before taking it. “G-Gabriel? As in. . But…” Lais had gotten a dream, flashes of what had led up to the current apocalypse. “How?” she asked quietly as she took her hand back. “It’s…Glad to see you up and around then,” she said with a smile. He wasn’t a foe. It was good to know this.

“Ahh so my name helped you remember my face I see,” he smirked running a hand through his hair. “Well Lais. If I told you how I managed to escape certain death it would make the tale far less interesting in the future.” The archangel took a handful jolly ranchers from his top pocket and offered it to her. “You see I decided to come back because of two reasons,” he popped one sweet into his mouth and smiled widely at her, “I missed the taste of the sweeter things in life and my brother needs to be put back in his cage.”

“Much rather go with good news. It means my lovely little ass stays alive,” he joked. “Oh sweetie. I’m on the side of humanity believe it or not.,” he scanned her with his eyes before holding out his hand, “they call me Gabriel.”

Gabe takes on from the tin and takes a bite from it causing his eyes to widen. “Where did you get this?” the taste in his mouth was a familiar one.

Gabriel watches him take a cookie out of his pocket and eyes it with interest, “well it appears you have wasted my time, but one of those may make me not want to wipe your ass from existence.”
