What if in his bunker Jeremiah was literally social media stalking Bruce because since he was one of Jerome's victims and he wanted to see how he was doing. Then when they meet in person Jeremiah is embarrassed because of all the time he spent creeping around Bruce's Twitter, Instagram, etc.

I can totally see this happening! Actually it wouldn’t surprise me if he did, it just seems in character that Jeremiah would do so.

He probably followed him on every single one and knows all these random facts about Bruce because of it. And Bruce being so confused when Jeremiah knows a lot of the things he liked online or posted.
