This photo is published in the new special edition soft-cover LIFE Book, PAUL, currently on sale ($13.99) and is about 3 1/2” wide.

Unfortunately there was no information about when and where the photo was taken - but seems to be early 1964. (Sorry about the spots - my old computer died last month and I don’t yet have a real photo program for the new computer - and my scanner isn’t functioning fully with Windows 8. Will scan this again when I have full retouching capabilities restored soon!)

ALERT JANE ASHER FANS!

Jane Asher’s first film, “Mandy”, from 1952, is scheduled to air on the Turner Classic Movies (TCM) channel on Tuesday, October 23rd at 7:00 p.m. west coast time.  Five-year-old Jane Asher portrayed Nina in the film (previously broadcast as “Crash Of Silence” in the U.S.), an emotional and well-received story about a deaf-and-dumb girl, which featured Nancy Price (above, center) and Phyllis Calvert (right). Jane’s character, Nina (left, above), was blind.
