So this whole time it’s been one sided. It was Carol being fully aware she was being manipulated by the hive when they sent her Zosia fully aware she was being honeypotted by Zosia and falling for it anyway because she has no other bid for human connection. But I think now it’s going both ways. The hive wants and needs new human connection. Just as much as Carol does. And Carol is the only one currently giving it to them. New books she’s writing, facts about her she never told anyone so they don’t know them, the list goes on. And the hive knows Carol wants to change them they’re aware of this they know she’s honeypotting them in return but they can’t help falling for Carol either. I think that kiss was partly because they thought Carol would want it and also a bid for connection and a gesture of love towards Carol that Zosia wanted to do. Carol was expressing such great care for them saying she had to reverse this so they don’t starve and I think that touched them even if they don’t want to be changed back. That genuine care for them touched Zosia and so she decided to kiss Carol because of it.

It's the way she looked at Agatha in that scene.

She doesn't care about the delulu shit Agatha's head made up, she just sits there and listens and enjoys the time because this is the first time in centuries where she's able to look at her without Agatha showing her how much she hates her. No fighting, no spells, no throwing something at eachother. They're just sitting there eating pizza and drink beer while Rio has the chance to admiring her.

Because this is literally what she does. Like

She never looked away, not even when she takes a sip of her beer. Never.

And the fact she didn't wanted to push Agatha too far after that. She immediately slow down when she saw how Agatha got nervous after her question where Agatha already has been. She stopped Agatha overthinking it and asks her again about the "case" so she could focus on something else. She could've just pushs it as far as she wanted but she didn't. Instead she was just sitting there and making sure Agatha felt as comfortable as possible while she's just admiring her.
