Greetings Earthlings ! I’m Sweet Satellite, I love creating digital dreams, especially if they’re pixelated.
I used to want to become a YouTuber, but I’m not so sure about this anymore. But running this blog is a lot of fun ! Consider this something of a portfolio.
You may call me Satellite, I’m a French Sonic fanartist and Minecraft custom content creator. I go by he/they pronouns In English (ol/il in French) and I am boyflux (think of it as a gradient going from male to genderless, and here I am moving between the two poles !). You can address me with masculine or even gender-neutral terms like “lad”, “dude”, “prince” and more.
❝What do you usually post ?❞
Lately I’ve been focusing on pixel art, mainly pixel graphics like blinkies and stamps, but I still work on Minecraft texture packs (though my Planet Minecraft title isn’t “Cutesy Procrastinator” for nothing).
You can expect blinkie & stamp templates, as well as progress updates & teasers for my own texture packs. I sometimes bring up other Minecraft-related things here.
❝Where can I find you ?❞
You can find all of my Minecraft downloadable content on my Planet Minecraft : Sweet Satellite !
I also have a Ko-Fi ! For now it only has alternative downloads for my most recent packs (with the option to pay what you want) but I plan to add more content there.
❝Is there anything more I need to know ?❞
I won’t reblog many things from others here as this is a blog to post my content, however I have a sideblog dedicated to reblogs : @sweetsatelliteorbit.
Everything on this blog will be related to Minecraft, (pixel) art and/or Sonic.
are we allowed to recolour your stamp templates? no worries if not!
It seems like Tumblr didn't notify me when I got this ask. Hopefully you're still here to read my reply, Anon.
I feel conflicted about it, because I know recoloring is a big part of how you can learn to make pixel graphics, but on the other hand, so far most of the blinkies I've posted here were conceived as final templates.
I do, however, understand the struggles of finding a nice blinkie template that unfortunately does not fit the color palette of one's site/blog, so after some pondering, here is my answer :
You can recolor my blinkies under certain conditions :
You cannot replace the character on the template. Taking inspiration from my templates to create your own original ones is ok, though.
You can shift the palette of the blinkie around to better fit your needs, but the base blinkie still needs to be recognizable.
So for example, recoloring my Sonic blinkies from a pastel palette to a more standard color scheme for Sonic is fine, but changing Sonic's fur to be green to represent Scourge isn't.
Here are a few other examples of what you can do with my blinkies :
Edit the colors to be neon
Add a solid background to my transparent blinkies
Change a blinkie's frame's color
No matter what you do with my blinkies, don't forget to credit me ! (Though I did submit some templates to Blinkie Café at one point, so no worries if you post edits made with this site uncredited. I just think of my graphics differently nowadays.)
BlinkieWiki has been completely overhauled and expanded to include a dozen new articles, which can now be navigated between with the links in the new sidebar on the left!
We've been working on this update for over a week straight, and it's easily the largest update the site has ever received! There's way too much content for me to describe exhaustively, but here's the sparknotes version:
New pages: Guestbook, How It Works, Mission Statement, Our Policies, Creator List, Archival Tools, Resources, 2001-2006 (wip), webmaster pages, Blinkie Stats, Creator Stats, and Transcriber Stats
Existing content, now expanded: Credits, To Do, Metadata Guidelines, Links
Existing content, no changes: Site Updates, Types & Attributes, Terms of Use
One page that I'm particularly excited about and want to highlight, however...
The Transcriber Stats page now shows the people who have submitted the most metadata! (Note that this page may lag for a few seconds to open.) This accompanies some new blinkies I made as cute little incentives for people who submit metadata and want to show off their hard work :-) these can be found on the same page!
If there are any bugs or problems with using the new layout, please let us know!
Here's an older blinkie template I had never posted here before. It's one of my first custom templates ; I'm not sure I even had a Tumblr for these back then.
Feel free to use these ! (Credit is appreciated but not mandatory)

Feel free to ask for the template ! I made it a couple years ago but didn't do much with it for a while. It's based on the 3D animation which plays on a phone in the music video.
Feel free to use these ! (Credit preferred ; please credit me when possible)
I was in a Y2K mood a few months ago, so I made this stamp template and... promptly forgot about it. Here it is, at last !
The second image was upscaled for easier viewing on Tumblr.
Felt like trying my hands at stamp-making, and made my own template !
I wasn't sure what was the usual/default stamp size, so I went with 99 px by 56 px images because I saw a few templates of this size. I think I'll keep using this size for future stamps.
The second row has upscaled versions for easier viewing on Tumblr.
The example features glitter I found on Free Online Image Editor, which I've recolored with filters.
Here's the original canvas I filled with glitter on there :
Uploading some blinkies I've made a few years ago.
I think the cotton candy one holds up better than the genderflux pride one ; I might redo the latter someday.
Feel free to use these ! (Credit is appreciated but not mandatory)
