so, as a trans man who’s v dysphoric, i’ve recently found a love for body mists and honestly, they’re so lovely 🥺

“but wouldn’t they make you dysphoric?” no? not really. tbh, feminine scents make me feel more secure and relaxed, since my mother used to spray my plushies with her perfume or body mists to calm my separation anxiety :,)

“you’re a man, why would you want to wear feminine scented perfumes or body mists?” y’all, scents shouldn’t have a fucking gender!! yeah sure, aftershave is for men, body mists and perfumes are for women, but honestly, as a male, i really love body mists with all of my tender lil heart

so yeet, body mists make me less anxious. sure i’m really fucking dysphoric, but they’re so lovely to wear 🥳

funny story

when I was little, I would go on Nickelodeon.com all the time and they had this game similar to club penguin except it was called Nicktropolis. and if you forgot your password, a security question you could choose was “what is your eye color?” and if you got it right it’d tell you your password. so I would go to popular locations in Nicktropolis and write down random usernames who were also in those areas, and then i would log out and type in the username as if it were my own and see which of these usernames had a security question set to “what is your eye color?” (which was most of them, since it was easy and we were all kids). i would then try either brown, blue, or green, and always get in, then I would go to their house and send all of their furniture and decorations to my own account’s. and if it I didn’t want it, i could sell it for money

I’ll never understand the narrative that the philly pride flag is the only pride flag that poc can use or are included in, like the original pride flag isn’t “whites only” and never has been, it’s meant to represent the whole community, not just the white one members (and not even just gay men, there’s specific flags for gay men y'all just don’t use them). I know that the philly flag was made out of a need for a reminder/solidarity, but implying that the original pride flag doesn’t include poc is just ignoring our history and spitting on the memory of it’s creator

If you want a flag with an extra stripe for racial solidarity, here’s a more pleasant, MORE INCLUSIVE flag made by the ORIGINAL PRIDE FLAG’S CREATOR. The lavender stripe is for racial solidarity.

Choosing to use this ugly ass flag, which implies only black and brown people are valid POC and which implies POC just aren’t part of LGBT history, is not only stupid but also disrespectful to the memory of the man who designed the original flag. His version should be used, not some lazy redesign that doesn’t convey the message as well. This was the final version he made before he died. Use this one.

Stop plastering ugly colours over his design and calling it an “improvement”. Have some respect.
