struck with the sudden memory of when I was a small child and was in the library. I was prowling the shelves when I saw a cute book cover with a cat on it, so I opened it up to the middle and read a passage about a cat getting disemboweled. I was traumatized and thrust it back onto the shelf
so anyway that’s my experience when I first read warrior cats. I proceeded to read all the books over the course of several years, seemingly forgetting my prior spoiler and trauma
