A productive morning spent working from home. 💁🏼♀️

that's what you get for stanning a cat lady who is obsessed with scrabble
the fact that she fully read netflix like that…. like ‘oh so miss americana meant nothing because now you allow slut-shaming on your dumb little show huh?’ and like… they’re a major company, she has two big movies on their site… and she fully told them to fuck off with their hypocrisy. love that.
suddenly remembered this poem as i was making breakfast this morning & frantically googled “poem remembered to buy eggs?????????” & somehow managed to find it & it utterly knocked the wind out of me just as much as when i first read it
And I was catching my breath;
“There are feelings you will never find words for; you will learn to name them after the ones who gave them to you.”

Folklore + Evermore
It feels like we were standing on the edge of the folklorian woods and had a choice: to turn and go back or to travel further into the forest of this music. We chose to wander deeper in. There was something different with folklore. In making it, I felt less like I was departing and more like I was returning. I loved the escapism I found in these imaginary/not imaginary tales. I loved the ways you welcomed the dreamscapes and tragedies and epic tales of love lost and found into your lives.
