I just saw this and started wondering how much post-lasik @taylorswift would cry at this.
I am freaking out right now!!
I woke up to the news that @taylorswift is FINALLY playing in Norway again, after 9 years! Iâve waited for this since the first time I saw her in my hometown of Oslo in 2011.
The only problem?
I live in New Zealand. Over 17000 km away. I donât know if Iâll be able to go or not, because I donât really have the money to fly home just for this, but thereâs nothing I want more than to go see her with my friends.
And itâs right before my birthdayđ
I am so happy and excited, but also so sad because my girlfriend is in New Zealand and Iâve chosen to stay here with her for the next few years. I donât have much money cause Iâm a masters student so itâs unlikely that I can afford the plane tickets.
But @taylorswift, thank you for finally coming back to Norway. â€ïžâ€ïž
Iâm just a 25 year old Norwegian having the time of her life in Auckland. Thank you, @taylorswift my biggest dream is to someday meet you so I can get you to write âIâm doing better than I ever wasâ, so I can get it tattooed. That one phrase means so much to me and my mental health, just like your shows make my life betterđ§ĄđłđŽđłïžâđđłđż @taylornation
@taylorswift @taylornation
Hereâs my outfit for tomorrow, the Auckland show! Iâve suffered from depression since I was 9, and Taylorâs music has helped me get to where I am today. These two quotes are really important to me and Iâd like to get one or both tattooed at some point â€ïž Iâm a member of the LGBT đłïžâđ community, hence the flag, and the other arm has a Norwegian flag because Iâm from Norway đłđŽ!
Find me at C2, row J seat 3!
Iâm in grad school now in New Zealand and itâs so stressful, but last Friday I flew to Sydney to see @taylorswift there and I honestly had the absolute time of my life. Iâm going to the Auckland show tomorrow all by myself, and I will dance my heart out and sing until I donât have a voice left! Itâll be my fifth time seeing Taylor (my home town, Oslo, in 2011, Shanghai night two and three in 2015 and Sydney and Auckland 2018), and every single show has been more amazing than I couldâve ever imaginedđ§Ą
Tomorrow Iâll be in C2 row J seat 3, come find me if youâre there, Iâll be wearing this shirt
@taylornation
@taylorswift Iâm not American, Iâm Norwegian, but Iâve voted in every single election since I turned 18. 3 years ago I was living in China, a group of us went to the Embassy in Beijing and voted from there. There is NO excuse not to vote, too much depends on it. Last year I worked at a polling station so I could take even more part in what makes a country great - its democracy.Â
As a member of the LGBT community who frequently goes to the US it terrifies me that there are still so many people who are against me and those like me, and wants to deny us basic human rights. Thank you for standing up and speaking your mind. You have singlehandedly gotten thousands of people to vote.
See you in Auckland on Friday!
I havenât been on here in forever, but in two weeks Iâm off to Sydney to see @taylorswift and the weekend after that Iâm seeing her in Auckland and Iâm screaming!!! I honestly could not be more excited about this right now
Ahh Taylorâs performances on SNL were so good!! Call it what you want is definitely my favorite so far. @taylorswift
I am so ridiculously excited for Reputation tomorrow!!Â
I wish I didnât live in Europe, so I could get the Target magazines. I was accepted into Grad School in New Zealand today, and I really wanna buy them as a present for myself, but I also need to save money cause grad school is expensive, and I donât have any money.
So proud of you @taylorswift
How come people have been bitches about Taylor for years, completely ignoring all of the incredibly nice things she's done, while a certain guy who beat his famous girlfriend is still allowed to play his music on the radio and very few people seem to say anything about it? I love the old Taylor, and I love the new @taylorswift
I donât care if Hillary Clinton is corrupt. I donât care if she lies, if she cheats, if she eats bowls of newborn chipmunks for breakfast.
She is literally the only thing standing in the way of a fascist dictator becoming President of the United States with a Republican majority congress that guarantees he can do anything he wants and nothing will be able to stop him.
I was and still am a Bernie supporter, and I hate a lot of things about Clinton, but none of that matters anymore. If Trump is elected, people are going to die. Women are going to die when Roe v Wade is overturned and Planned Parenthood is defunded. LGBTQ people are going to die when conversion therapy is further legalized and more bathroom bills are passed. POC are going to die as Trump rounds up Mexican immigrants, gives more power to the police, and fuels the fires of Islamaphobia. Poor people are going to die as Obamacare gets overturned and further cuts are made to welfare programs. And thatâs just in this country. Thatâs not even taking account the all-too-likely outcomes of Trump starting new wars in the Middle East and having control of nuclear bombs that heâs said he âwould not rule outâ using.
This is no longer even about âthe lesser of two evilsâ. This is not âscare tacticsâ. This is literally life and death. Donât fuck around and tell me youâre voting third-party or not voting at all, because you donât have that luxury.Â
I am delighted that this post has gotten as many notes as it has, but as Election Day grows closer I would like to flush it out with some additional information and facts, particularly for those people who are still considering voting third party and those who still consider Clinton âjust as badâ as Trump.
Why you shouldnât vote for Jill Stein
Why you shouldnât vote for Gary Johnson
Why you shouldnât vote third party AT ALL: x, x, x, x (hint, itâs because the electoral college presently makes it impossible for third party to win)
Worried about Clintonâs scandals? John Oliver breaks it down.
Comparison of Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sandersâ views. They voted the same 93% of the time.Â
A comprehensive review of Donald Trumpâs corruption

Concerned that Hillary Clinton defended a child rapist? She tried to get out of it, but she had no choice.Â
The official Republican platform includes banning abortion, overturning marriage equality, no background checks for purchasing guns, declaring coal âclean energyâ, religion used as a guide for legislation, a border wall, and pornography declared a âpublic menaceâ.
Politifact says that Hillary has made âfalseâ statements 11% of the time and âpants on fireâ statements 2%, compared to Trumpâs 37% and 17%.
Bernie supporter? Bernie says that now is not the time for a protest vote. Bernie tells you why you should vote for Hillary Clinton. Bernie says that Trump must not become president.
Please do not waste your vote. You can complain about Hillary Clinton as much as you want, but complain about her while you vote for her.

whatâs christmas even like in non-christian families? in completely non-religious families? like what do you tell your children? âwell, kids, weâre eating a whole lot of food and spending a fuckton of money spoiling you because some other people somewhere believe their holy lord and saviour and the greatest person to walk the earth was born 2000 years ago. hereâs a playstation.â
yeah pretty much
i legit didnt know non-christians celebrated christmas⊠literally never crossed my mindÂ
I mean, if weâre gonna get into the nitty-gritty here, itâs not even a Christian holiday. The Church just tacked Jesus onto the pre-existing winter solstice celebration that the Pagans already celebrated in order to convert them. Hence the whole âwhy are there lambs in December when theyâre usually born in February-Marchâ thing.
My mother is mildly religious, but my father and I are atheist and agnostic. My grandparents have never talked about religion so I don't know what they believe in. I'm from Norway and growing up I went to church every Christmas with my school, but I've only been to church on Christmas Eve once, because I was in my school choir and we were singing there and my very religious great grandmother was visiting. In Norway Christmas is still called Jul which refers to the Pegan holiday. I know what Christmas is about, but for me it's about being with my family. I have a very small family, for Christmas it's usually just my parents, 2 grandparents and I. I don't have any very religious friends, but we all celebrate Christmas. For me it's not a religious holiday at all.
