By request, a few plates for this #throwbackthursday Most of these are in my personal collection, which means they have been tested with the microwave, dishwasher, kid knocking them around in the sink, and other such daily abuses for about 10 years now. Of course my work is porcelain, so it is breakable, but it certainly isn’t fragile. I believe art should be part of everyday life. My plates can hang on a wall. Tea bowls can be displayed on a pedestal. They are safe there. They will never wear out.
