Viola Davis won her FIFTH Screen Actors Guild Award for supporting actress Sunday night. After the show she was asked whether the increase in Black actors and actresses nominated for Academy Awards was a response to last year’s #OscarsSoWhite backlash.
I guess this question is offensive itself as it doubts talent of Black actors in general.
Viola Davis spoke the truth with intelligence and grace. Very inspiring. What a legend.

Watching Clifford walk to the elevator, Maxi smirked at the sight of his empty hands.
Refusing to accept beverages from Apple or her offer told Maxi things about Clifford.
With his black towel, shorts, and sandals Clifford stepped into the elevator and Maxi stepped up his casual.
For a tenth of a second Maxi saw Clifford look through him as the doors began closing and he felt disrespected.
Clifford was supposed to see a threat when he saw him, whether Maxi made that known or not, despite currently being a complete stranger.
After sizing him up Maxi convinced himself that Clifford could give him problems in a physical confrontation if he did not bring an equalizer or two.
Acquiring Clifford would be handled differently, and his uppers gave him the directive to never approach him, which he detested. With the notion in mind to convince Clifford to take a “job” with them instead of outright abducting him forcefully, Sunshine wanted to exploit the pure shit out of him.
Though Maxi understood how big that could be for them all, he would never forget seeing the cocky bastard flippantly brush off his beautiful associates on top of tossing drinks they generously offered him in the garbage.
Maxi had to struggle to keep up with the various lexicons in different areas outside of his organization, but he wanted to consider this a flagrant party foul.
If indeed himself and his beautiful associates were considered the world’s best and he did not have a legitimate shot with any of them there was no way some severely unaccomplished piece of trash would scoff at them.
Even though the thought of Clifford’s new little friend, possibly for whom he rejected Apple and the gang made him grin with speculation Maxi felt Clifford did not have any basic right to reject them.
To his chagrin Maxi was not allowed to touch Clifford’s little sweetie either, which only compounded his frustration. There was no way Clifford could sex her like he would, and he pitied her for such subpar taste.
Being sexual in certain situations was a part of Apple’s job, but he could tell by her body language that it was highly possible she would have enjoyed and probably anticipated spreading her legs to Clifford. Apple was his, whether or not she agreed, and such pleasure as well as causes for speculation would come from him, not some artsy ass herb like Clifford.
Eaten alive with the urge to provoke Clifford, Maxi caressed the knife underneath his shirt with malicious thoughts.
Satoria did not count, but if Lemon, Vanity, or Apple gave it up to Clifford then Maxi would be obligated to find a reason to murder him.
Being toyed with by Apple, constantly rejected by Lemon, and the personal sex slave of Rico sometimes pushed him to dangerous extremes, and he did not feel he was responsible for controlling his emotions all the time.
“Oooh, it’s so soft…what you put in it?”
Feelings hands in his dreads, Maxi wheeled around quickly in a rage.
Almost drawing his knife, Maxi knocked a young lady’s hand away from his hair, “You fucking stupid or something?”
Gasping, the young woman took a step back, “I’m sorry, I’m a stylist, I ain’t thought you’d mind.”
People usually died for touching his hair without his permission, but killing her right there would be, not impossible, but hard to cover up.
“If I randomly grabbed your shit would you mind you stupid motherfucker?”
“Fuck you, you stuck-up muhfucka’, I said I was sorry! You ain’t all that! I can’t stand niggas who can’t take a damn compliment!”
Imagining slowly cutting her pretty little throat, Maxi could only smirk at her oblivion.
All of a sudden he wanted to smooth things over with her so he could sex her. Then kill her.
Appearing by his side suddenly, Rico took Maxi’s hand and stared down at the young woman.
Throwing her hands up, the young woman turned to walk away, “Look I said I’m sorry.”
“Don’t be. I’m very open…minded,” Rico replied, smiling at her.
Not interested, the young lady waved her off, “Ugh…”
When she was out of sight Rico led Maxi to a shadowy corner not far from the restrooms before she punched him hard in his kidney.
Groaning in pain from the feeling of her ring, Maxi grimaced.
“You stupid motherfucker. I told you to watch him and not make a scene. Go to my room and wait for me. That emotional shit is going to get you hurt.”
Refraining from risking to show her how pissed off he was for his well-being, Maxi quietly obeyed.

Who are you to say I'm acting uncivilized? With every malicious act my paranoia is intensified. Racial tensions liable to explode at any given time, but the majority swears shit is fine. What this implies is either they don't give a damn or they're incredibly desensitized. They flocked to the polls to Make America Great Again and vote, so it's obviously a bit of both. The concept of the American Dream is an elaborate hoax, saturated with the "ideals" of nationalist folk fashioning "hope" for those who need it the most.
