Me an' Buster come from the Grass Continent. We're stakin' out here in the human realm after hitching a ride with some weirdo Dewott that we think is famous. From what we've heard about this place, there's tons of money and things to snag, and we wanna get all of'm!

Well, not all of'm. That's just too many. We'd have nowhere to keep them.

Swipes and Buster are INCREDIBLY minor outlaws from the continent in PMD: EOS. like they barely did anything at all there lmao. Their Special Names are a secret, and they don't mind going by Weavile and Clefable. They hitched a ride with @teamgardeners' Gen- without the Dewott knowing- and managed to run off to Paldea, somehow. They want to make a name for themselves. (Permission was obtained from Bench for the connection!)

Swipes has the ability Pickpocket, and the moves Ice Shard, Assurance, Hone Claws, and Agility.

Buster has the ability Magic Guard, and the moves Pound, Moonblast, Teleport, and Charge Beam.

Buster and Swipes are very much so incredibly similar Pokemon. I might make them branch out from each other as I develop them, but they more or less ping-pong the same braincell.

Buster, sparkling like a gemstone with a stupid Dark-type Tera hat, lyes on the ground face-down. Sitting on top of her is Doc, the little Pawmi, rubbing his hands together excitedly as electricity builds up between them. Swipes stands behind, looking like she's on the verge of tears as she readies an Ice Shard.

With a frantic squeak of "IMSOSORRYBUSTER!!!", the cold move lands, knocking out a chunk of Buster's health, but not quite knocking her out yet.

Finally, Doc finishes charging; much like an actual doctor, he lifts his electric-filled paws and squeals "Clear!" before shocking the shit out of Buster. That move finally puts Buster over the damage threshold, and the Tera Energy ejects Buster's body in what's basically an explosion- sending Doc flying off and Swipes careening back.

It takes them a moment to recover, and Buster just rolls over onto her back, panting tiredly. Doc's eyes light up as he realizes the problem has been solved, dashing over and jumping about excitedly next to her. "You're cured! I did it!"

Swipes (attempts) to grab Buster and lift at least the front half of her up, shaking her worridly. "BUSTER, SPEAK TO ME!"

Someone should've mentioned that it's a temporary type change, not permanent. Terastallizing, or the change in pokemon type from their usual to their "Tera type," is nothing permanent. Most pokemon just get their usual type as their Tera type. To use Swipes as an example, you might have a Dark Tera type or an Ice Tera type. If you're Dark Tera type, then Terastallizing would mean you wouldn't be as hurt by Fire type moves as usual. If you're Ice Tera type, then Terastallizing would mean you wouldn't be as hurt by Bug type moves as usual. It'd also provide an additional boost to your moves, as though you were somehow that type multiple times over! You can also have a different Tera type than usual. It's usually recommended to have a move of the same type as your Tera type. For example, if you were to be an electric Tera type, you'd want an electric type move. What type did Buster end up being, anyway? It sounds like the electricity hurt a lot, so I have a few guesses.

So it's temporary? AWESOME. HOW DO WE MAKE IT GO AWAY FASTER.
