Dear Readers,

We are team Nightdancer. We aren't quite sure what is happening right now, but the world has changed. We found this device, and everything before this was normal. We are not at home anymore, but we wouldn't be explorers if this discouraged us.

Yes, we will work to find a way home. But in the meantime, we do what we do best. Scouting, exploring and understanding the world. This… thing will be used to document our journey.

We should introduce ourself as well. We are Unown Ü, and our partner is Sableye. We are not sure what else is important, but seeing as previous entries can be changed, we'll take advantage of this as the need arises. ~ Ü

If you need to address me (the player/mun), I'm okay with any pronouns, and if you need a name you can call me Kama, Nox or Cheese. (And please excuse me if i sound harsh sometimes, or ask stupid questions). I have two other Poké-Irl blogs, @koffing-time and @professors-polycule who are run by humans. I also run @drampas-trainers where i document my journey through the Pokémon games. If you want to interact with them, feel free to do so. (Rules from here are a bit different than for those blogs. refer to koffing-time for that)

Now for the blog itself: This blog pretends that Pokémon are real. So blanket #unreality warning here. I won't tag every post with this. Instead, i'm using something along the lines of #pkmn irl, #pokemon irl or #pokeblogging and #pmd irl

So, this blog is run by Team Nightdancer. It will mostly be Ü posting here, who is using they/them pronouns, but specifically also we/us when talking about themself. It is perfectly fine to refer to them as Ü, Unown Ü or simply Unown. Maybe Sableye will also be posting, but probably less. Sableye uses he/she and specifically NOT they.

Disclaimer: i do not have DID, and Ü also doesn't have DID. if you want, you can just say they like to use the pluralis majestatis. There is some lore to them but i don't want to reveal that just yet. I hope i don't offend anyone by their portrayal in any way.

Also, i use a version of the PMD world that is not quite canon to the PMD games. If you ask team Nightdancer about their home, experiences might differ from other PMD-Irl blogs.

also right at the end, shoutout to @wingsofachampion who successfully pressured not only me butsort of all of rotumblr to make PMD blogs (joking, but more importantly affectionately)

I think it was a mistake to create this blog on a whim when i did. I immediately felt disconnected to it and the characters, which is kinda sad.

Because of this, the blog will be inactive until further notice or if it's funny. Not that there has been a lot going on or anything in the first place, but eh.

OOC ANNOUNCEMENT: VACATION

//hi all! I'm gonna take a break from tumblr and rotumblr as a whole for one to two weeks.

this means i won't post, won't answer asks and won't interact with people here and also not read anything. (i will go through notifs once i'm back. i still have some unanswered asks and shit anyways. sorry i'm taking so long for those btw.) however, you can find me on discord. i'm active on two poké-irl servers there. namely, Pokéblr 18+ from @/belamew and PMD IRL from @/wingsofachampion.

the reason for this is that i'm constantly overwhelmed by everything going on, the fact that i want to do so much stuff and literally don't have the time, and that i'm constantly in writers-block because i just can't focus on one thing at a time. I'll uninstall the app from my phone for the time being, so DMs won't get through to me. again, i'm available on discord.

honestly, this blog is actually why i'm taking this break in the first place. Everything else was piling up, but kept up i think. then everyone made a PMD blog, and i jumped on the hype train because of fear of missing out and it was a big mistake. i wanted to make plans for it, and those didn't work out and now i'm not feeling too well about the whole thing. Imma be honest, i'm not sure if i will come back to this blog at all after the break, but i'm trying to get my thoughts in order, develop my ideas and see if i can make it work.

OKEY SO; Tix is one of the loveliest characters I have ever seen. They are genuinely an amazing person that is very compassionate, while Olivia is also generally good, Olivia's personality is kinda the opposite of theirs.. I absolutely ADORE Tix's character and that's why Olivia is so good. They cover each other's shortcomings in an extremely well way and just slot in like a puzzle. It's very great ^^

DRAMPASTRAINERS is genuinely one of the MOST UNIQUE concepts I have ever seen on tumble! Very few people RP as characters that are under or over 20, and you went straight for the old lesbian couple with their drampa! I ADORE their personalities and the vibes coming from the blog! It just feels cozy, you know?

PROFFESORPOLYCULE you already KNOW im a big fan of them XD and you already know how fuckign impressed I am by the way you managed to give all the professors there such distinct personalities while keeping their professionalism! Honestly, it's very impressive XD

Sableye and us took a risk earlier and split up. It didn't backfire. Instead, we found other unown in this cave. We think they're scared of Sableye.

One group in particular was very nice and showed us a few inscriptions on the walls. The group is called FRIEND. hopefully FRIEND will warm up to sableye. Maybe they can lead us out of here. ~ Ü

But to try and answer your question, we think it's more easy for us to communicate directly with other Pokémon. Usually, Unown communicate collectively by writing. We don't know if they can form telepathic links like ourself, we never thought to ask...
