i am so excited cause 8x8 is my favorite mutiplication and i have 64 beings following me! I am so sorry for every mutual i forgot and the ones that i do remember vaguely and for anyone else in general for not being on this blog thing lots of stuff going on shit was crazy but now im back and better than ever (I suppose)
been too busy with school that i’ve been forgetting to draw. i’ll be able to draw more during the summer :] anyways i wanted to draw my bbg fries. i Hope he does not get eliminated i swear to God
fucking hate how so many websites are starting to delete entire accounts or wipe content uploaded by users without accounts and just get rid decades worth of stuff. google is deleting accounts inactive after two years - what happens to the youtube videos made years ago? do we just lose them forever? what about google drive folders that compile and share countless resources? imgur is deleting all nsfw content and images uploaded from users without accounts - so many posts all over the internet are going to break because their images were wiped from the image host. twitter is deleting accounts that dont log in within 30 days. what about personal accounts from people who passed away? what about people who just dont use it that often?

this is your reminder that if you're going to be posting spiderverse gifs / clips you NEED to tag them as flashing, eyestrain, etc.

also, do NOT tag them as epilepsy, seizure, photo-sensitivity, etc. people use these tags to find other people like them. by putting them in these tags you are endangering them.

Google says you'll get lots of emails before your account is deleted.
Okay..Now listen to me, you need to make a HUGE fucking stink about this, start archiving as much legacy youtube content/google docs whatever, and most importantly- SPREAD THA FUCKIN' WORD!!! Literally a decades worth of old content will be gone because of this stupid thing, this is basically like burning down the library of alexandria. ARCHIVE NOW!

So you agree. Show-writers are important to you and to the industry and should be compensated accordingly for their important work.
TV Executives: “if the strike goes on, you won’t get new episodes of your favorite shows! You won’t get new movies you were looking forward to! Isn’t that terrible, what the writers are doing to you?”
Me: Bitch, that might have been an effective threat in 2007, but we have since survived a Covid shutdown and discovered ways to amuse ourselves while we waited, we can outwait this shit, too. I got a pile of shows saved I haven’t even watched yet, and a Mt. TBR waiting for me.
Compensate (and respect) your writers for their work, assholes.

I pointed this out in a Discord server I'm in and thought Id share here:
Bob Iger announced that Disney is going to absorb Hulu, and Hulu will no longer exist next year. All shows will move to the Disney+ app.
Disney also announced they were going to remove shows and movies periodically from their streaming services.
I believe both of these moves are because of the Writers Strike.
Disney knows its going to lose the strike. There is too much public support. Specifically, the WGA is going to win writers getting more residuals from streaming.
So if Disney takes shows off of streaming, they dont have to pay the writers the residuals.
They are going to use excuses like "not enough funding for the server capacity" or "not enough views to warrent keeping the show". These are BULLSHIT. Its all greed. Its only GREED.
Pay attention to what happens in the following weeks.
And keep supporting the writers' strike.
I've said this before and I'll say it again: it's more important to know and understand fully why something is harmful than it is to drop everything deemed problematic. It's performative and does nothing. People wonder why nobody has critical thinking skills and this is part of it because no one knows how to simousltansly critique and consume media. You need to use discernment.
This is ultimately why propaganda is going to work on you. Because you never learned how to think for yourself and the actual ideology behind things. You simply rely on group think and the bare minimum explanations to tell you what's good and bad.
