Asher walked carefully, balancing himself and Gus so he wouldn’t hurt the man further. He shook his head, glad Gus was out of it so he wouldn’t see the way Asher winced slightly at Ember’s name. “It’s okay, Daddy. You’re hurt. I’ll take care of you,” he murmured. Finally they reached Gus’s room, and he helped the switch onto his bed, propping him up on pillows. “Are you hungry, Daddy?”

Gus hummed as Asher fused about him and helped him get in bed. It felt so good to be in bed, with pillows, and...Asher wasn’t there with him. “No, no.” He finally answered, patting on the bed with his good hand. “Come cuddle, unless you need to eat yourself then I’ll wait. I fear if I eat now it’ll end up in the toilet.”

He waited patiently for Gus to realize what he’d meant, the arm around his waist slowly stroking his back. Once he started moving, Asher shifted with him, helping Gus to his feet and keeping against him so the switch had someone to lean on. “Okay, Daddy. We can go slow, there’s no rush,” he said softly, his voice warm and caring.

Gus leaned heavily onto Asher and let the boy lead the way. Shit his body was going down and going down fast. He just wanted to sleep and cuddle up with his sub. His sub. That thought made him chuckle. “Must be such a burden. Sorry darling, I’ll make it up to you and Ember soon.”
