Mowgli clearly not impressed by Kaa's warm greeting starts to make his way off Kaa's seat. As Kaa speaks to him he glances one more time as the snake manoeuvres above him, saying something to him. He pays it no mind until he hears the word "Look". He blinks when he hears it and just starts to look at Kaa as asked just before he lands. The yellow eyes suddenly start to fill with colors and he is instantly transfixed. His head moves forward as his arms find support from Kaa's coils as his knees almost gave up. His body instantly remembering the amazing feeling he had in the first encounter. His eyes widen and pupils shrink a bit as he watches for a second. But as he notices what happens he quickly shakes his head and turns around, even protecting his eyes. He knows he shouldn't and he certainly doesn't need another animal telling him what to do right after Bagheera, Baloo and Louie made a mess.

Kaa clearly knows that the mancub is not impressed, and not the brightest either, what works to his advantage. He makes sure the mancub is more occupied with his tail as he gives a command and returns to be in front of the boy. "Let me look at you" as he positions the boy between his coils and head, starting his hypnotic gaze strong with the colors flowing very fast from the start. As he sees the mancub eyes widen his smile widens before suddenly seeing something very rare, a prey resisting his gaze! Kaa stops his gaze and looks puzzled at the mancub using all his willpower to shield his eyes. What it something he said? Didn't the mancub feel good enough? Was it something Mowgli knows that Kaa doesn't? Kaa takes a second to think about what to do next...

Kaa shrugs off the tone of Mowgli's greeting and continues to wrap his coils slowly around the boy. He puts on a nice gentle smile and greets the mancub in earnest, definitely glad to finally have a moment with him again. But this time he will have to be nice and cunning to get the mancub unknowingly go along with the play. But he also makes sure that he distracts the mancub while manipulating and easing him into a conversation. We will see that all throughout the 2nd encounter.

Meanwhile Mowgli gets annoyed by the coils invading his personal space and goes to work to remove them from around his waist. As Kaa finishes his greetings Mowgli looks up and notices the snake in his face, as if the coils weren't bad enough. With no regards or respect, which is weird considering the first encounter, he pushes Kaa away. Again. Not keeping in mind what happened last time and what Kaa could do. Just not in the mood for a clingy animal and he shows it in his priorities. Commanding he snake to go away and leave him alone as he pushes him away, just like last time...

After being thrown around by Louie and feeling abandoned by his guardians, Mowgli finds himself wandering aimlessly through the jungle. When he decides he needs a break, some other animal decides that he should help the mancub with that.

As Mowgli sits down a tail descends and comfortably snatches the mancub around the waist, lifting him up from the dangerous jungle grounds into the safe canopy. As he gets lifted upwards Kaa is already smacking his lips. How lucky is he to stumble upon his favourite plaything from last time? Surely the snake would not follow the boy around after the last time, waiting for some revenge...

As Mowgli is wondering who or what is hoisting, Kaa is smacking his lips with a big smile knowing exactly who he caught at the perfect timing. Already expecting the mancub's reaction he just nods, smiles and looks at him trying to make him at ease while teasing the boy with his coils slowly wrapping around his body.

The mancub initially curious about where he is going finds out is Kaa. He exclaims his surprise while his eyes widen and his body leans back a bit, only finding that he can't completely get away just yet as the coils keep him in place. Notice how with his surprise and sentence he doesn't sound or look particularly angry or scared. Not throwing punches like he did with the monkeys or Louie when they teased him. He is more annoyed that the snake is just very clingy instead of being preoccupied with what Kaa could do to him.

As Kaa was thoroughly enjoying putting Bagheera under again, we can also see it wasn't really a question for him if he would succeed. He widens his eyes in glee before admiring his prey before him being totally clueless and happy. You can see Kaa thinking about all the things he could do to them in their blissful state. He unfortunately forgot about the mancub who was trying to throw him off because of this and gets sent offscreen.

Meanwhile Bagheera is happily subdued by the colors. His mind making sure to keep those colors going and eagerly waiting for anything Kaa might do. Before Kaa disappears we can see his spirals going quite quickly. He cycles through all the colors in those 2 seconds. Later when Kaa has fallen down we can see that the colors in Bagheera's eyes have slowed down a bit. Still hopelessly addicted but without commands or more stimuli from Kaa it might be that Bagheera automatically goes into a slow preserving state. Making sure he can last a long time.

As Mowgli yells and shakes Bagheera we can see that he doesn't register anything. The mancub and the whole outer world are not important. It takes a solid 2 seconds of repeatedly hitting him in the face to make him sort of regain his senses. And with his eyes closed he still keeps on smiling, and even when he opens his eyes without the colors for the first time he still has a big smile on his face. After a couple of more smacks his mind gets back to normal but clearly distraught and struggling to remember what had even happened. Probably an intended side effect of Kaa hypnosis. Leaving a trace of the feeling of hypnosis but not the actual memories during hypnosis or induction.

Just a shame Mowgli was smart enough to help the panther out instead of watching him enjoy the hypnosis for a bit.

Hey guys, and Disney fans, today I’ve been doing all this because my favourite movie is the jungle book, and the second one as well, I know you’re thinking y’all Hate the jungle book 2 but I used to love the relationship about Baloo and mowgli, they had a lot of experience about bare necessities and Mowgli only wanted to return back to the village with shanti, ranjan and his adoptive parents sadly Mowgli thinks he won’t able to see Baloo again.. he gave him a hug and then run off.

I just felt bad for both of them, but Turns out at the end shanti, Mowgli and ranjan had time to visit their animal friends in the jungle :3 I really loved the ending ♥️

Confessions! When I was a kid, I didn't know what "shipping was" but, in hindsight, boy did I ship these two!

Not sexually! I didn't know what that even was. I'm talking about a period of my life - like ages 5, 6, 7 - when I still thought babies came straight from heaven and the maternity ward was where the parents went to pick theirs up... I was so sure everyone else could see what I saw, and also had some idea that they'd disapprove of it, that I eventually decided to hide my fandom. By the time I was 8-9 I kept a copy of Kipling's book in the back of a book case where no one else would find it, and would only read it when no-one else was in the room.
