I tried to get Paul [McGann]’s belt, he wears a little snake belt [in the Night of the Doctor], which doesn’t mean anything to you guys but Paul’s the same age as me, and when we were little kids these were the kind of belts we wore to school, and I thought it was very touching that that’s what he had in his Doctor Who costume. I did buy one to put in my Doctor Who costume to wear under my jumper, but you never see it, and then the costume department lost it [crowd: AAAAAAWWWWWWWWWWW]. I wanted to do a little thing that was a nod to him.

well, needless to say I did not enjoy that episode either! of course tennant gets another version of his doctor to go with dildo!doctor, because we need five hundred david tennants for some reason.

the social commentary made me cringe and so did the embarrassing recreation of the master's lipsynching efforts. empty callback for no reason, yay! they'd been doing pretty ok in giving him his own vibe up until that point.

I'll give ncuti's first ep a go, but it had better be a 180 from this stuff.

(was it just me or was Donna being weirdly snarky to the wheelchair lady for... no reason? that really bugged me)
