It started when you were rambling to him about knitting a sweater but was too lazy to do so

At first he was like 'What about my sweaters?' but then he eventually planned to personally knit a sweater for you because you can't

He watches videos online on 'How to knit a sweater' and he wouldn't lie, his patience could NEVER, but for you sure he have unlimited patience

At the beginning, he's like 'This have to be thick enough to protect Y/n from the cold'

He rarely tell you to cover up yourself and just straight out give you all his jackets or sweaters and make you wear them because he's shy (sometimes when he have enough courage, he himself wear the jacket to you)

He had to work on it while hiding it from you because he wants it to be a surprise

The pattern of the supposed to be sweater was fine at first, but then you told him how your friend is knitting a sweater for you that is going to be finished soon telling him how 'cute' it is even though its not yet finished

You know what he did? He speed run it, wanting to give you his knitted sweater first before your friend

And it ended up being ugly, he doesn't care though, as long as he gives it to you first, he knows that you won't get angry at him no matter how ugly it gets

That is true, even if he gives you the ugliest sweater in the world, as long as its from him and his efforts, you will be happy

And the day he calculated your friend might give you the sweater, he gave it and wear it to you

You were speechless of course, too happy he's actually remembering all the things you talk about despite not acting like it

You thank your friend for the sweater and gave her her favorite food, but you just hid the sweater and wore Rindou's the whole day, while cuddling with him

And this is the exact reason why you don't like going at the clubs, because you know that HE will be here, and it will make everything awkward, Haitani Rindou, the name that got imprinted into your mind over the years that you had both spent time with each other, the memories of the time that you cherished so much without anyone knowing, even him, and would love to go through again

Everything would have been okay if you were strong enough to protect yourself, he wouldn't have to leave you if you were not in danger, you both love each other very much and you both know that, but the thought of you dying still gives him nightmares, he wouldv'e rather love you from afar than see you die in his arms
