It's about desexualizing breasts and "female presenting nipples" and not being criminalized for our bodies if we want to go topless because it's a million damn degrees out. This was a popular growing movement that was still widely known a decade ago!

And the fact that not wearing a bra is so discouraged and stigmatized that people think the movement was about being able to go braless under your shirt in public rather than about being able to not wear a shirt at all says a lot about how far we've backslid in the past decade

Look up in your local laws if it is legal for all people to go topless. It's legal in my state because of feminists who insisted on free the nipple. If it's legal in your state you should practise your freedom to be half naked in public. Make it normal again. Do it in groups. It's a custom and customs are only changed by people aggressively changing them en masse.

And if it isn't legal then like the previous poster said, it's our job to support the cause of feminism and our right to be treated equally under the law. If men are allowed to go without a shirt then everyone should be allowed to go without a shirt, no matter what is under their shirt.
