Mad that Maekar genuinely had the most peaceful reign in the last century of Westerosi history. Like this is not talked about enough, there were no major rebellions in those 12 years, no reports of famines or plague. My guys reign involved a long ass summer and getting crushed by a rock.

You ever think about the fact that Maekar’s personal sigil is four Targaryen dragons because he is 1) the fourth son of the king and 2) (and I think this is more important) one of four brothers. That is his identity, he is one of four brothers that he loves, that he doesn’t always get along with, but that is his identify and he is proud of it. He is proud to be a brother. And he ends up losing all of his brothers anyway. And becoming king was the divine punishment for killing his oldest brother (however accidentally). Because becoming king means he loses almost everyone he loves. He used to be a brother.
