Coughing quietly, she looped an arm around the woman’s neck. Admittedly, she had to bend her knees quite a bit to do so, but she could barely stand on her legs as-is. “Thank you…thank you,” she whispered quietly, struggling and fighting to move with the other woman. By the time they reached the tent, the full weight of her exhaustion was dragging her down.
“Y-…you…thank you,” Ayperos repeated, wobbling.
Havria tossed the tent’s front open with her free hand as she carried the other inside. Without any chairs, or any sort of furniture suited for this kind of situation for that matter, she carefully brought her down to the bedroll that lay spread out on the ground. The fact that she was just repeating her thanks was more than a little worrying.
“Just... take it easy and breathe. Rest your voice.”
