It's with great excitement that I'm here to announce a project I've been wanting to work on for a long time: 3 years ago, I created two characters based on my player-partner duo in Explorers of Sky, a game dear to me ever since childhood...and decided I would've kept their stories to myself.
However, as I added on to the document containing the plot of their AU, I realized I wanted to share it with the community: that is how PMD: Diverging Lights was born!

Who will be the main characters? The main characters will be my dear Shay and Trixie, a Shinx and a Skitty respectively! However, as this is an AU of the game, many other characters from it will make an appearance, and some of them will have an even more important role in the story! Expect to also meet more of my original characters though; I sincerely hope you'll enjoy them!
What is the plot of the AU? The plot is...let's say that if I revealed everything here, the main twist and many other things would get spoiled and ruined!! So, I will limit myself to saying that it's a reimagination of Explorers of Sky, that adds more drama, questioning of some characters' reasons and explanations to different things in the game, while the premise remains the same.
Where will I be able to read this comic? Here on Tumblr, on this account: @diverginglights !! And later on, I will also create and share a Comicfury account!
When will you start posting it? I plan to get everything ready for mid-late 2026!! If anything happens, I'll update this post, and also I'll update you guys on this account!
With all of this said, thanks to anyone who got interested enough to read until here! As a reward, I'm going to show you the reference sheets of Trixie and Shay that I made 3 years ago; their designs have remained unchanged, and are the ones that will be used in the comic!!

✨ these comics are from a popular drarry fic called eclipse by mijan! for anyone new here, the context is that draco has a phobia for bodies of water, & with his consent, harry tries to help him overcome it. harry initiates by taking off his shoes for him when he sees draco stiffen up & it kinda tumbles into this tender moment where draco feels braver helping harry undress if harry can help him with his own clothes.
its a very sweet metaphor for the themes of the fic where draco is still a bit pathetic and slow at disavowing his parents’ views (although clearly wanting to) but, by contrast, feels braver helping harry escape voldemort. and it is through helping harry through his adversaries that slowly has draco proving to himself that he is capable and ultimately, more himself, when offering to do good. anyways!!! im smitten by this fic as you can tell.
