why would mickey get ian’s name tattooed on his chest after being dumped (following one of the first times he admitted his love for ian aloud) with no time to process what just happened

what is the point?? mickey doesn’t have anything to prove. he doesn’t owe ian anything.

he’s canonically known how to spell ian’s name for years, and dumbing him down to make the scene “lighthearted and funny!!!!!!” is insulting to his character and the unexplored trauma of the events that led him to incarceration.
