"Ah, waaaaaay off tack." Elena sighed, she was supposed to go to Kardia but that's probably a long ways from here. "I guess you can say I'm new here... How long have you been around then?" She asked curiously, hopefully not the only one lost.

"Only a day I'd say." Sybelle replied meekly. "I-I suppose an introduction is in order... I'm Sybelle-Mist.." her voice trailed off quietly. She felt bad that was one of the few things even she really knew about herself. "A-and you?" Sybelle asked as politely as she could."

Elena finds herself in a new town, but to be honest, she wasn’t sure if this was the right place, she was supposed to pick up stock from another blacksmith but she can’t find the place. In the distance, there was a person there so she went to ask her whereabouts. “Uhm, excuse me! Can you tell me where I am?”

Sybelle was surprised that someone had spoken to her. She wandered so much that it was often that she stumbled into a town. "O-oh, I think this is Selphia." She was pretty sure it was, and it certainly wasn't Alvarna since that was the last town she had been in a while. Sybelle's eye showed some of the confusion that she had in herself, but she tried best not to show it. "You are new here as well?" she asked timidly.

Frey looked apologetic for startling the woman, but didn’t comment on it. “You’re in Selphia, of course! Kingdom of Norad, I’m sure you’re familiar?”

"Perhaps.." she tried to remember if this had been a place that she had been before. No I can't, I'll just have to be patient. It can't be that easy to remember. "...Well, am pretty familiar with Norad..." she said pretty sure of herself.

Sybelle gave a small laugh, "I kind of have... a memory problem." She hoped that wouldn't wear any nerves of the first person that actually talked to her in quite some time.

Frey smiled warmly at the other girl, sitting down next to her. “Hey, you’re new in town, aren’t you? I don’t think I’ve seen you before.”

Startled, Sybelle nodded. "I just kinda wander and go wherever I seem to end up" she spoke quietly. "W-where exactly am I?"

soo um... o-o I'm gonna try using this rp account again; so would anyone like to rp? I'm pretty sure that everyone rp group I'm in (or was in, idk) aren't even active anymore. I stopped using this a while back because most everyone disappeared and the college started up again too x.x

Sybelle smiled. She was happy that someone else had enjoyed the goddess spring just as much as she did. “I’m glad.. you feel that way.” Sybelle chimed. “You should see it in the spring too!… The flowers.. are even more colorful… and the birds sing much more… I would love for you to see it!” Maybe I can take her there more… maybe we can be friends!… Sybelle was glad that she shared a common interest with one of the villagers. It made her feel like she wasn’t so different from them.

"You… would love it too.." She looked at the pink pokemon who had been giving a friendly smile. Seeing that both of their pokemon made her very happy. Maybe Umi could have a water friend now too! Sybelle had never run into anyone else that had any water pokemon as well.

"Yeah!" Eileen said. "Who wouldn’t love it here? And the weather is lovely today, as well!"

She turned to Bernini, who gave a little grunt.

"Bern seems to like it here, too…"

Eileen paused for a half-second before suddenly standing at attention and clapping her hands together.

"Oh! I’ve just had an idea!" She turned to Sybelle. "Ah, but maybe it’s not so good… Would it be bad of me to let Bern swim in the pond? He loves swimming but the ocean bothers him a lot. Of course, it’s the Goddess Pond, though, so wouldn’t it be disrespectful or something? I don’t know, I’m just thinking out loud…"

What a strange question she thought. Sybelle never thought about herself so she wasn't quite sure either. "I don't think it would be bad..." she said looking up in thought. "I would think it is alright, as long as nobody is being harmful in any way right?" she asked sort of curiously.

Umi let out a playful squeal. It seemed that it had wanted to play with the pokemon as well. Having the opportunity to play in the water again, let alone with another water pokemon, was a rare opportunity. Sybelle was always careful when there was a large body of water, but this one wasn't too big so it was just fine. There was not threat of any vicious pokemon.

Sybelle set her little shelled friend down and watched it hop right over to the pond. Once it reached the water, it swam around excitedly. Opening and closing it's shell just as other shell fish would be seen doing. Umi popped out of water and squirted the others with water, letting out a happy little sound.

Chase gently placed the freshly made orange tarts into the picnic basket, being sure that they didn’t crumble too much in his hands. Zorua hopped atop of his shoulder as he did so, purring and rubbing against the young…

Chase’s laughter disappeared with the young woman’s greeting. His eyes widening a bit in shock actually. “Hm? Oh..uh…hey,” he mumbled, placing his hand on the back of his neck. What an uncomfortable situation. Chase was never one for dealing with people, but looking her over, he saw her as harmless enough and sighed. He could put up with it. Seeing the young cat-like pokemon’s behavior wasn’t shocking to him. His Zorua jumped to sit atop his head and only tilted it’s head at the defensive creature. Letting out a small bark, the Zorua was brought to the ground by Chase’s large hands. “C’mon, kid, say hello.” The Zorua bounced it’s way over to Sybelle’s Pokemon, sniffing it and letting out its small bark as a greeting this time. “Chase,” he introduces himself with his free arm extended, the other carrying the basket still. He looked away, nervous to make any form of eye contact at the moment. “My name is Chase.”

Banshee carefully watched each action of the Zorua. Once it had decided the small pokemon wasn't a threat, the Skitty pawed at it playfully and mewed cheerfully. It ran around again, bursting with excitement. Getting to meet another fellow pokemon was always nice. Banshee loved to play with others.

"It's nice.. to meet you.." she said with a smile. Sybelle reached her hand out for a handshake. It seemed that's what most people did whenever she had observed them. "It's wonderful to see them play, isn't it?"

Hearing a voice, Chase's eyes widened in surprise. "Hm?" The young man took a step back with the Zorua tucked away in his arms I order to protect him from any dangers lurking outside. A sigh of relief came when he saw it was only a young woman though. He places the Zorua upon his shoulder again, tilting his head and questioning her laughter to himself. Upon seeing her Pokemon however, he himself began to giggle and waltzed a bit closer. "Cute," he stated with a small, yet warming smile.

She turned her head slightly to see that a male with a Zorua had been near by. She was hesitant to say anything but decided that she would. "H-hello.." she said a little nervously. Banshee ran right over to her and plopped with onto her lap, staring at the Zorua. The Skitty continued to look up, not knowing whether to initiate play or to fend off the small dog like pokemon. "oh.. don't mind her... she.. can be this way sometimes... if she doesn't know someone... I'm sorry.." Sybelle was still pretty nervous, not knowing whether the young man would be upset that her pokemon had become defensive around him and his pokemon.

Picnic Under The Blue Moon - Open RP

Chase gently placed the freshly made orange tarts into the picnic basket, being sure that they didn’t crumble too much in his hands. Zorua hopped atop of his shoulder as he did so, purring and rubbing against the young chef’s neck. Chase patted the Zorua’s small head, greeting the young thing with a smirk. “You ready to go, kid?” Chase chuckled a bit with the young pokemon’s reply of a small bark. Upon their departure, Chase breathed in the fresh nighttime air and exhaled with a gentle smirk. “Nothing like a picnic under a blue moon, right?”

Sybelle had been taking a walk that night with her skitty. Roaming around the fields was nice and being able to taking in the sights brought comfort, it was as it time had stood still whenever they were able to enjoy the little thing that life offered and not having to worry about other things for a while. Before going back, Sybelle decided to enjoy the view of the moon. It was very bright. Banshee mewed looking up at it as well and then started to run around playfully. The skitty was always very lively. She giggled watching the small pink pokemon play in the grass.

"Of course! Is there anything else we can do?" Sybelled asked. Althea waited patiently for when it’s services would be needed. The Altaria had a determined look on it’s face, ready to help out. They seldom had the chance to work together like this. It was different, but it was nice. Working together like this with her pokemon would allow them to have a deeper bond. It was a nice thought.

Sybelle looked towards the area that the wizard had been working on. “Maybe… I can help you search?” She wasn’t quite she what she could do, but hopefully she could be of some use. To be the only one that didn’t work would make her feel as if she were slaking off, or just not very helpful at all. But she didn’t mind too much, at least she offered her services.

He grabbed his hammer and chisel and shook his head slowly. “No thank you. I’m not looking for much…Whatever’s here will suffice.” Crystals weren’t so much in demand. They looked nice, especially when well crafted into accessories.

Breaking off a piece and taking off as much stone as possible he handed it over to the Altaria. “Here you go..”

Althea took what was given to her and started to work right away. Cleaning the gem took sometime and kept the Altaria occupied for the time being. Sybelle watched her pokemon work hard, making the gem clean and showing it's beauty. The gem sparkled once everything had been removed. Sybelle's light blue eyes grew, staring at it in amazement. It was absolutely stunning and she was in awe. "Wonder job Althea!" she said cheerfully praising her Altaria.

Being finished with the first one, Althea waited patiently once more for another job to be handed to it. Determination shown in it's eyes. Sybelle was proud that her pokemon did so well at something such as this. Normally, the pokemon wouldn't want to risk the chance of dirtying it's feathers, but getting the chance to see rare gems and stones was much more to it's liking.

Mountain Camping || (Sybelle-Mist & Flora)

"My home?.. Well… I stay wherever I can find shelter… for both myself and my pokemon…  Usually in the areas of the flute fields or the fugue forest.." she replied. "What’s.. a flashlight?" Sybelle had never seen or ever even heard of this item. Did it do some super thing? Was it an item that was for pokemon?

Sybelle was curious and thought of what in the world it was. Going back to the previous topic, she started to talk again. “Yea,  I can show you… the faster way to getting to the summit. Just let me know… any time that you would like to travel..” A smile was on her face.

Flora was surprised by Sybelle-Mist’s question, as she thought flashlights were something of common knowledge. Nonetheless, smiling slightly, she pulled one out of her satchel.

"This is a flashlight. It’s a sort of plastic shell, with a light bulb inside. It emits rays of light, so you can see when it’s dark, if you don’t have a pokemon with flash. Like this," Flora turned it on to show her, waving it against the mountain wall, unintentionally startling a sleeping Spearow in the trees.

Remembering what Sybelle-Mist said before, she changed the subject. “So, you don’t have anywhere to say?” Flora pondered for a moment about this. She didn’t seem very bothered by her homelessness, was it by maybe choice, or just something accepted? Either way, in this rain..

"The weather seems a bit unpleasant for staying outside all night. Since Carter is gone, there’s extra room in the tent..you and your pokemon can stay for the night. If you want, that is.."

"We could go to the summit when he returns, maybe?"

It was such a gracious offer, and she didn't want to be rude by refusing. "That.. would be lovely..." a soft smile settled on her face. "Whenever... you would like to go to the summit.. is fine with me. I don't really have any plans... so it would never be a bother." A slight giggle came from her. "That flashlight thing... it's very interesting. It seems that it proves to be very useful.." Sybelle thought of all the times she could have used one whenever it was dark out and she had been coming back from catching food.

"What is it like?... Where you used to live?..." Sybelle wondered what the world was like. She could never travel, so finding anything out from anybody else was very amusing. Whenever someone talked about different things or places, it painted a picture into her mind. "Was it like Castanet? Were there farms too?" Realizing that she may have been nosy she pardoned herself. She didn't want to seem too nosy or rude. 

"Don't mind me... if I seem to be intruding." she said with a nervous smile.

"A.. stone?.." She considered the thought, but she didn’t want to force anything that her pokemon didn’t want to do. "Yes.. that would be nice.. but I don’t think I could right not.. Not until Umi is ready." Umi had always seemed happy as it was, if she made it evolve, would it be unhappy? Would it be confused or upset that she had made it change itself? "Is there any… that you were looking for in particular?" Sybelle asked quietly. She wondered if he had been looking to evolve a pokemon of his as well.

"We can help… if you want.." Intruding on his work was the last thing she wanted to do. The thought that someone would be upset because she caused them to be made her cautious of how she spoke or acted around anyone.

"That would be appreciated.." Wizard gave the lantern back to Zoroark and went back to his little work site. "I’m not looking for anything in particular. They’re nice to collect when you come across them is all.." Though it was a shame he couldn’t exactly use them himself. None of his pokemon ever reacted to stones. "…Perhaps your Altaria can help clean the crystal bits when they’re chipped off?"

Wizard shook his head, “I’m afraid I haven’t stumbled upon many. They’re hard to come by.” He pointed towards the crystal on the wall, “Though there could be a possibility that those stones grow along with crystals.” It was a simple hypotheses and from few experiences he has found few near crystals. 

"Perhaps you want a stone?"

Sybelle hadn’t come across someone who was so kind before, it puzzled her seeing the girl and hearing her thank her. “Y-you’re… welcome…” She answered timidly, “Your pokemon was not trouble at all…” she tried to put on a small smile for her new acquaintance. Sybelle was terribly nervous even though she saw there was no need to feel that way. “Your buneary… it’s very cute… I’ve only seen one once… but faraway… I was shocked to come across one and be so close..” Umi turned it’s attention to the girl as well and then looked back at her buneary. They certainly were a pair. They simply looked like they were destined to be matched as mistress and pokemon. 

Umi let out a squeal pointing out where the girl had come from. “Horn Ranch… is where you reside?..” Sybelle remembered when she was little she would often sneak over when nobody was around. She would gaze at the ponyta and miltank that would graze out in the pasture. They always looked so happy playing out there.

Observant of her timid nature, Renee kept her distance in order to have the stranger be comfortable with her presence. A friend, or perhaps an acquaintance, of hers resembled this girl’s personality in many ways; gentle yet quiet. “Oh good. Buneary is quite the fan of people, sometimes being a little nosy. ♪” The brunette chimed, patting the tender head of the Pokemon soothingly, amused by her own remark. The shellder comfortably relaxing upon the other’s shoulder involuntarily caused her to ‘ooh’ and ‘ahh’ at such a delicate creature. “Your Pokemon is cute as well! I have never been up close with one before; not even near the shore.”

With the sound of her gracious home, the rancher nodded with complete enthusiasm. “Mhm! My family owns and runs the ranch. It’s pretty cozy in my opinion~.” It was a fault of hers to brag of the ranch, yet, sometimes it simply slipped out. To avoid seeming egotistical, she continued on her statement, “Do you live around here?”

"Umi and I... we live.. kind of close... We mainly stay in the Fugue forest... the trees give us a lot of shelter from the weather..." The forest wasn't just convenient because of the protection that it provided, but it was also to Sybelle's liking because she loved being able to see the pokemon of the ranch running around in such a lively manner. "You... go fishing?..." she asked. It seemed to her that this girl had experience of seeing quite a few water pokemon by her comment. "Umi... she... she is a very nice pokemon... I'm glad that I was given the chance to be her friend." Sybelle smiled at her shellder. The pokemon let out a squeak like noise, showing a happy expression as well.

"What is it like?... On the farm.. the pokemon seem to always be so happy there.. It must be wonderful." Her minded seemed to wander again. Blue eyes was wide in curiousity, she really loved the creature, they were always very pleasant to be around.

"I have… reached it once, " she said, "the view… was very beautiful." She thought back to when she and her Altaria had reached it for the first time. They were both very tired, but found the sight to be worth it. 

As the rain kept falling down, Sybelle looked at her shellder who had been still been in a very joyous mood. “You would love it up there,” she continued, “If you like… I could… show up to the summit sometime… miss Flora…” Sybelle smiled. “My Altaria  and I… we found a fast route to the top… but it can be hard… with no light..”

Flora was incredibly impressed..

She could feel her mind racing at the thought, and tried to imagine the view Sybelle-Mist was describing. But she knew that now wasn’t the time. The dark skies would make this challenging, if not dangerous. And she had to fill Carter in on the recent research and finds..

"That sounds like a wonderful idea!" she exclaimed. "I can’t tonight, but any other sunny day would be perfect". She looked at the sky; it was dark, and without the rain, would likely have been flecked with stars.

"It’s getting late; how far is it to your home, or tent? Do you need a flashlight?"

Sybelle stumbled along, following her Altaria until they suddenly came to a stop. Being able to open her eyes was a little easier now that there wasn’t a glare of light shining at her. “Oh!” Sybelle was surprised that she had run into the wizard again; her eyes widened a bit. “fancy meeting you here… how are you?..” she was a little embarrassed at the thought the he had seen her clumsily stumbling in the mine. “Hello… to you too… Zoroark!..” Sybelle smiled at the pokemon.

There were tools lying on the floor of the mine where someone would have been chiseling away at the wall. This was a new sight for her, since she had never been in the mine with another person, she didn’t know what he would be wanting to find in there with it seeming that there were only rocks and a few occasional gems that would be peeking from the ground every now and then. “What.. are you looking for?…” She asked curiously. Sybelle thought it was strange that he would be there. I thought he only studied stars and experimented with fugue mushrooms… Sybelle trailed off into thought.

Wizard lowered the lantern a bit, nodding at Sybelle. “Nice to see you as well. I’ve been fairing fine, thank you…” Zoroark smiled as he was addressed, waving back at the girl. 

At her question he looked back at his equipment, “..Oh, just digging up a couple of crystals and stones is all. I like them…they hold many strange properties and valuable to my research…” He smiled at the thought, “I’m also researching some stones…pokemon seem to react to a few certain stones and that interests me a bit.”

"Oh! I've seen some of those before... but I was never able to take them.. My pokemon didn't want to stay in here long... so I had to run after them." If Umi could become a Cloyster, she wouldn't have to worry about it in the winter weather so much. She often thought about getting a water stone for her shellder, but ended up never doing so because she didn't want to force it to evolve.

"Have you had any luck yet?... Finding the evolution stones?" Sybelle asked. She hadn't been sure if they were particularly easier to find than the other gems that were inside the mine. "It must be hard when you look for them huh?"
