Post a picture of your character’s biggest nightmare.

Like her dreams, her nightmares aren't that common. But also like her dreams, there is one that she keeps encountering. The setting changes every time but the sequence is the same - she's somewhere in Chicago with a group of friends, or her family. She goes to speak but no one takes notice, so she raises her voice. Nothing changes. She speaks louder. Nope. Soon she's screaming and shaking in their ears but they don't even bat an eyelid. It's like she doesn't even exist.

When she wakes up, she can't be relieved until someone acknowledges her.

Post a picture of a dream your character has had.

Sydney doesn't dream often. She's a heavy sleeper. like a bear hibernating in the middle of the winter. So when she does see something in her sleep, it's quite memorable.

There is this one particular scene that she has seen more than once. She awakes from her slumber but she's not in her room; her mattress has been cast by a river. It's just her, the body of water, and the waking sun. Sydney has no idea where she is, or why she's here, and she's never gotten a chance to find out. Because every time she tries to get out of bed, reality claims her.

From the moment she head her first note - she remembers it was an F - Sydney has been intrigued by music. Whenever someone asks her why, her tongue becomes twisted. There are no words that she could say that could ever justify her reasons, but she can say this - the Amity got it right.

Losers, Weepers • Sydney Warren + Aurora Case • Jan 18th • Streets of Chicago

General Notes: Aurora assists Sydney in finding her wallet, which she has misplaced. • Side Notes: N/A

Aurora:

Aurora had been perched on a guard railing awaiting Sydney’s arrival. She said she’d be here at this spot to begin their search for her wallet. Normally, Aurora wasn’t the type to stick around somewhere and help someone out when she barely knew them, but Sydney had seemed a bit frazzled when they talked. If Aurora had lost her wallet she may have felt the same.  Finally seeing a brunette figure following the cracks in the road, Aurora pushed herself off the rail she’d been leaning on and crossed her arms over her chest squinting in the distance at Sydney It was very sunny out today. She placed a hand above her eyes to block out the sun as Sydney neared her. “Splitting up would be easier, it will cover more ground. That sounds good to me. Just yell if you find it, I have to teach the initiates in an hour or so.” Aurora went in the direction Sydney had pointed following the path of the street looking along the ground as she went.  She’d found nothing but grass, weeds, and trash in the street before she reported back to Sydney. “Hey there’s nothing over that way, did you have any luck here?” As she was speaking to Sydney, Aurora couldn’t help noticing haw decrepit here purse was. The color of it was fading and it was held together with safety pins. Raising a brow, Aurora gestured to the bag before saying, “Culprit one of how the wallet got lost in the first place. I think it may be time to get a new purse, Sydney.”

Sydney:

An hour. We have an hour. Right. Sydney began to move, dawdling the opposite direction of Aurora. She turned her head every now and again in a lazy fashion, hoping for just a tiny glimpse of her wallet. The problem was that whenever she lost something, it was a mission and a half to locate it. It usually took months to find it, if she was lucky enough, and by then she wouldn't have even cared. Maybe it wasn't her strongest suit. Maybe it was Murphy's Law. Or maybe she was just too lazy to look. Any way, finding things wasn't her forte.

There was no luck this way and, after meeting with Aurora again, it was clear that she wasn't doing any better. Sydney sucked in her cheeks and blew out, leaving an audible sigh to crawl over them both. "Nope," she replied, shaking her head, "I wish. Seriously, 'Rora, I'm just as lost as my wallet." She looked down at her purse, the one with fading satin and golden clips. "This old thing? I've had it forever. It has more than nine lives, I tell you." The corners of her lips twitched, and then she shrugged. "You're right, though. I need an upgrade."

Post a picture of someone/something your character loves and why.

Although she does dabble in illicit drugs now and again, Sydney's addiction is closer to home. She is absolutely obsessed with soda, Erudite's signature drink, and she can't get enough of it. It's not uncommon to see her sipping a bottle or five throughout the day.

It doesn't take much for Sydney to develop symptoms of withdrawal, due to the amount she drinks and how often she drinks it. You can tell she hasn't had her daily glass she's complaining of a headache, can't stay awake, or is just plain irritable. The problem is, and Sydney's aware of this, is that the molecule fits perfectly into her brain's adenosine receptors. She has no interest in giving it up, though, like all addicts.

I’m not one for dancing, but it sounds like it’ll be quite the affair. I just may have to make an appearance.

The idea of anonymity is fun, but that'd be the only reason I'd go. I like having fun but formal events? Nuh uh.

Honestly, Sydney doesn't regret much. She thinks it's stupid to dwell on past mistakes and prefers to live in the present. That being said, sometimes she does wonder what it'd be like if she never got into her laziness habit. Maybe then she'd have a little motivation to do something with her life, but 'whatever'.

Uh, a lot of things. I sort of went off the grid for a bit ‘cause of a little spat with my family, but it’s all solved now.

Post a picture of what your character considers home.

Whenever Sydney feels lonely, she catches herself visiting Cloud Gate. She lies under the high arch and watches reflections, of herself and others. The way that the concave chamber warps and multiplies reminds her like liquid, and she can spend hours staring at its distorted skyline. It is, to put it in simplest terms, a beautiful distraction.

Young Wolf. [she slams the cup down and turns to Claire, flashing her a friendly smile.] My blood sugar levels have gone through the roof and I can't stay still. What about you?

[After downing the last of the lemony soda, Sydney became lost. She had sat down at a nearby table, glancing over at the drinks every now and again. She'd look like a loser without a cup in her hand, but alcohol wasn't an option tonight, so what could she do? Too hyped to stay still, Sydney began to tap on the table, and her empty cup.]

Well luckily I got some here. {Pulls out a small packet of mints to see that there are two left which he passes one to Sydney and one to himself}

Thank Christ. [Sydney takes the mint and pops it in her mouth, before tilting her head.] You know, I don't think I've ever caught your name. You got one?

[As soon as she counts to three, Sydney hastily pulls away. She doubles over and makes a dramatic scene, coughing, spluttering, and pulling silly faces, before looking back up to Robbie.] I need a breath mint... and you need about twenty. Blech.
