Kai had taken a packet of pills from Maddox’s stash, but he knew what they were and he knew how much to take. It wasn’t his first time doing drugs, after being around nearly 2,000 years life without them tended to be dull. 

He popped one in his mouth before sitting back on the branch he’d just climbed, closing his eyes to let it take over. “If you want one, you’ll have to say please.” he muttered as he caught the scent of the other below him.

Sid had never been much of a person who said “please” to others, especially when it came to drugs. From the years of buying back home, it was always done and gone. So hearing this guy, seeming around the same age, tell him to say please merely made the human roll his eyes. 

“Yeah, ain’t gonna do that. You want company or not? Or... I can owe you a favor for it?” He shrugged, looking up at the hellhound with a brow cocked.

In a moment of recklessness, Rhoan had convinced another slave to help him steal some of the alcohol from the bar.  It would have been easier to get drinks from Madds’ stock, but Rhoan hadn’t been in the mood to play it safe.  This was what always landed him into trouble, but somehow, he’d managed to steal a few bottles without being caught and was seated on one of the windowsills, having a quiet moment of celebration at a job well done until someone came up to him.  The barghest offered out one of the bottles, flashing a faint smirk.  “Wanna join me for a drink or two?”

After finally, finally being unclaimed and out of the claws of a master’s rules, Sid was sure as hell going to enjoy his freedom. Sneaking his way around the castle, he came across a man he’d not yet met but seen around hallways for a while. It was a surprise though when the stranger spoke him and even offered him a bottle. “Are you serious? Don’t be kiddin’ me,of course I do.” Sid grinned, accepting the bottle and taking a seat beside the other. “How the heck did you get these?”

Being unclaimed almost just from one day to the other, the guards had given Sid very little time to gather his things from the room he’d occupied in Zed’s suite. He didn’t have very many belongings, but those he had were previous to him. And so it had only been a few hours since the guards had finally tossed him back to the Undercroft. With his things safely stored under his new cot, the human decided it would be best to get reaquainted with the uncomfortable beds and sleep until morning. Cuddled up under a sparse blanket, he attempted to doze off, before hearing someone’s footsteps surprisingly close to his cot. “The fuck d’ya want? I just got back down ‘ere, can’t a bloke get some fuckin’ sleep? Leave me alone.” He grumbled, not even opening his eyes to see who the intruder was.

”Is that how you see me? In tyranny? You can’t rape what you own.” One of these days, Sydney would end up getting severely injured, and to prevent that, the connection between the two had to end. “Be grateful that I haven’t killed you for disrespecting me like you have, I’ve killed slaves for less.” His other hand clasped against the boy’s throat, constricting his breathing. “Maybe I’ve been too nice to you? Maybe I should. What’s that saying? If I can’t have you, no one will.”

“Yes.’Cause you don’t fuckin’ own me. You can’t own another human being.” He knew nothing would come out of arguing with Zed, but slavery was one thing Sid was always going to stand his ground on. He beloned to no one and never would, no matter what the vampires claimed. “You know what, I am grateful, ‘cause I have someone to live for. Someone I gotta protect. You may think of me as disrespectful, but I think you might’ve forgotten what it’s like to be human and actually have emotions.” The boy’s breah wheezed out when Zed took hold of his throat, his own hand instantly coming up to try and pry it off. “Trust me, you haven’t been nice. And we both know you don’t actually want me.” He managed to get out with strained voice.

“The problem with you slaves, you’re all ungrateful.” A clenched embrace in Sydney’s dark locks, wrenching his head. “All I ever did was take care of you, but that’s not enough for you, is it?” The sentiment in his body, right now, he only wanted to harm the human. Knowing that wouldn’t solve anything, he had to restrain himself. “All you did was complain, whine and disobey. I’m going to grant you your wish, and give you your freedom.”

A sharp wince crossed Sydney’s face, feeling the grip Zed had on his hair send pinpricks of pain through his scalp. “Take care of me? You locked me in a room for a week and raped me. You call that taking care of someone?” He asked through gritted teeth, recalling the memory of when the vampire had first laid claim on him. “I would be grateful, if I thought there was something to be grateful for. But you’ve done nothing but make me hate you, fear you.” He confessed. “Thank you...”

The kiss was very unexpected. So unexpected that Cam forgot to close his eyes. He stared at the other as their lips pressed softly together, but after a few moments his eyes flickered closed. He wrapped an arm around the other boy’s shoulders, pulling them closer and deepening the kiss a little bit. 

Sid was a little hyberaware of every move Cameron made. Scared he’d taken it too far too quickly or otherwise done something wrong. But when he felt his best friend’s arm snake around his neck, and the kiss deepen, he couldn’t help but smile a little against his lips. It was still so sweet and gentle, Sid had to sight. Unsure of what exactly this meant for their relationship.

Rhaegal sighed and stopped though he groaned. “Fuck, Sid.” He gritted his teeth in frustration but sighed. “Fine, I won’t touch you but I’ll hold you like this. Before you leave my suite I’m gonna make sure you’re fully showered, removed my traces from your skin. Does that sound good to you?” His erection was painfully throbbing and he knew he couldn’t satisfy it without releasing it somehow. “It matters, okay? I’m just pushing it because I know there’s something worth pushing. I know you’re not being a hundred percent honest with me. Look if you want things to work out between us you gotta be honest with me. I can’t do anything to Zed and his claim over you but I can help you make things easier. I won’t lie, sex with you is hella amazing. That’s a reason why I want to keep you around, but if you keep lying I might not be able to control myself and just..” He gripped tight on his pants ripping it a bit. “Fuck.” He groaned then playfully squeezed his tiny bum. Imagining how good those cheeks would feel around his cock. “Alright.. just sleep.” He pulled the slave closer and he closed his eyes. Maybe if he fell asleep he could calm down his arousal as well. “Go to sleep.” He said sternly.

The sound of the master’s groan sent a pleasurable shudder through Sid’s body. Even though he knew every wave of heat was wrong and they shouldn’t be doing it. He shouldn’t be touching Rhaegal, no matter how tempting it might have seemed. “Okay. Yeah, that’s... that souds alright.” Letting out a soft breath of both relief and frustration, he let his hand drop from the vampire’s crotch and instead cuddled closer to his hard, muscular body. There he stayed, silently tracing patterns on the master’s bare chest for a good minute or two. It took him that long to find the right way to put his thoughts into words. “Did you ever consider that maybe I don’t want people to know? You’re... You’re right, I am bisexual. But that doesn’t mean I wanna be. I just... I can’t be with a guy. It’s not my place-...” The human trailed off, gasping out loud when Rhaegal ripped his jeans and groped his ass right then and there. Another small wave of arousal caused through him, though it was easier to ignore this time, as the thoughts running through his head kept telling him they shouldn’t do it. That he shouldn’t enjoy the older man’s touch at all. “The sex isn’t bad at all, it’s just... wrong.” He sighted, feeling the conversation was coming to a hault. Confirmed by the master’s command to sleep. And so Sid did. Shifte to get comfortable in those big, strong dragon arms and closed his eyes. His heart beating a little faster and harder than normal.

“Thank you..” He said softly, instinctively wanting to say something more, but instead his voice trailed off into silence. He didn’t even respond to Cameron’s second confession. Instead he gently took hold of Cam’s face to guide him away from his spot by his neck, before carefully leaning in to place the most cautious and gentle of kisses to his lips.

“Or did you finally get tired of me?” The human male cocked his brown in question. Nevertheless, if the master was for once truthful, it might be a chance he wasn’t going to get again. So he lowered his head and reluctantly sunk down to his knees. “Will you please just unclaim me already? We both know this is more of a hassle to you than anything else.”

”Either way, why does it matter? You’re going to be free. Consider it a win for you.” If Sydney was back down in the undercroft, it couldn’t be much of a victory, he’d be away from Zedicus, the only bright side. “That’s not very sincere. Try again, and if I were you, I’d put some feeling into it.”

Sydbeh stayed silent, thinking for a moment, before giving a shrug if his shoulders. For once Zed was right, his reasoning didn't matter if the slave was unclaimed in the end. "But what's in it for you? If I know one thing about ya by now, it's that everything comes with a catch." He questioned his master. Sighted, Sid took a deep breath, preparing himself for how embarrassing this would feel. "Will you unclaim me? Please? I really wanna go back to the Undercroft. And you can find yourself someone more willing. Please?"
