All painted up!
Semi finalist for Michigan’s voting sticker contest :o)
Head complete. I was very strategic with this one— mostly spray paint with just a little bit of hand painting around the eyes, and soft pastels all over.
Spent yesterday evening sanding the body and flung some support beams right into my eye. Lesson learned- safety glasses. You would think I know this since I was an operator in a factory.
Next up will be a series of 3 little bat girls. These anthro dolls are a bit more on the humanoid side. I hope to design more detailed outfits.
The one photographed is inspired by the Honduran White Bat.
Some of my Oreo tributes over the years. Thinking of her today :o)
I think I might start sharing work in progress pics more. Because the process of making a doll can be challenging but also SO FUN. I want to celebrate that.
I’m excited for this elephant girl! This was the first time I needed to make separate parts that connect through pegs- the tusks. I made the silly mistake of making the hole/peg an exact fit in the model- so in real life, of course, the peg didn’t fit. It was easy to fix though, just filed the holes to be larger.
Tucked in. Last one.
Some process pics from my Spyro doll. Smallest doll I’ve made. I will never willingly work this small again.
I finished my Spyro doll, and with that- all 3 of my girls are done!!!
I wasn’t happy with the pink shirt I made for Oreo, so I started over today and made this starry blue one.
Mermaid retiring to land.

For my friends that sadly had to say goodbye to their cat, Howard.
Finished making my Oreo doll. Onto the next 🖌️
Here are some of the dolls I’m currently working on. I want to finish the cat dolls first, since I already have 1/3 done.
It just warmed up, so I will be able to print again soon.
I tried to prototype a soft body for the demon baby (like how a traditional babydoll is)… but it just wasn’t working out. I’m not that good at making sewing patterns. Oh well- doesn’t seem that important for this project anyways. So I’m reworking it to have all resin parts.
