📚word of the week📚

Word of the week is a solid way to help retain hope.

This page is made with free paint swatches from walmart, magazine clippings, fabric swatch from old supplies, and the `encourage` sticker is from dollar tree.

My hope is to be able to look back on these words and have them make an impact in my life. One of the most important lessons I've learned being homeless is that you have to hold on to hope. You have to hold on to happiness. Even if its small hold on to it. Be excited about every small step you make forward and every thing you do to survive. Be proud of what you do to survive no matter what it is, because it takes real strength to live when it seems hopeless.

📚December cover page📚

This December cover page is a simple start to the month.

It is made with magazine clippings and a hand made December tag. (The effect on the tag is made with medical gauzes colored on with marker) A lot of the work in my journal, like this tag, is torn. Being homeless means you carry a lot if not all of your possessions on you at all times. Thankfully i have a broken down camper and a broken down van. Although it does not provide the best protection from the temperature, it does provide protection from weather. This means i have semi safe storage. I keep a pair of sizzors at the camper.

But sizzors are not the best to carry on you. Some places like libraries, hospitals, and work places. This means sizzors may not be avalible every time you journal. The torn look does provide a good alternative for that.

There are still a few pages i need to finish but i wanted to give an update.
