We all know the glass ceiling stops women from getting past a certain point in their careers. But the glass escalator elevates men in female dominated fields above where their same skilled female coworkers would be able to rise to, earning them more pay promotions and accolades for less work and talent.

For men these careers are the equivalent of eccentric hobbies, for women these careers are a lifetime of grueling work to even be recognized.

it’s okay to have clumsy and awkward sex and it’s actually really common
