Pyre’s fingers flex out, then curl; they clench their fists, which tremble. They don’t even want to go home at this point. It’s not like they could either way, you know, but .. it’s the sentiment that counts, right? And they’d fought so hard to get to this point, but it’s hard. They’ve come so far, and for what? To save a world they hardly know? To feel like an outsider no matter what they do? They can barely even understand other people here, all except for their friend. Everyone treats them weird, they beat up a dragon and get their shit rocked on a daily basis, and they feel like it’s all for nothing! 

“... What am I even doing here?...” They mumble, glancing to the side. Man, they’re starting to feel down.

Let’s hope that dark influence doesn’t get to them ... even though dark purple clouds are gradually swirling around them.

Her smile freezes in its placed after getting slapped not just by one, but two responses to her being! Given that the girl was an idol, she at least expected just a little bit of interest from anyone who didn’t know her. Her optics couldn’t even blink as she began looping the last sentence in her mind. Dumbass. Annoying and unpleasant to look at. At least the cave explained their rude behavior. God damn normies.

After a moment, some signs of life began to return to Hatsune’s face as her face began to slightly contort as the robot was unable to fully drop the cute idol facade. Okay, so this one is gonna be a little hard to get, she concluded.

“ Why would Miku get lost? ” Her voice bank started again, with some suspicious vibrato, “ Miku hasn’t even done anything! At least lemme show you how amazing I can be. With something that isn’t leaving immediately. ”

Well, Miku’s right about one thing; it’s gonna be hard to get them even the slightest bit interested in her. Borderline impossible, if we’re really gonna be honest here. Pyre’s already tuned her out, inspecting their nails as they wait for Miku to finish processing their words, but by the time she’s come back to? Well, they’re just ... walking off. They have no interest in sticking around, deeming it better to just try and find where their friend Ring went. She’d be missing them by now, they’re sure! That, and they just REALLY want out of this conversation. 

When the idol speaks again, they’ve made a good bit of distance from her. They turn slightly and pause for a second when they hear Miku speak. Oh, now she’s insisting she could do something amazing that wasn’t immediately? Color them NOT interested. Ultimately, they decide that she’s just not worth replying to, giving her a cold stare, square teal eyes squinting in clear annoyance. 

“ . . . ”

They say nothing as they turn and continue on their way.

“Oh, hush. It won’t be difficult.” Pyre grins wider, exposing sharp, sharklike teeth. They playfully shove Ring, then run a hand through their hair. Mm.. still down. They pause and pull off a hairtie from their wrist, tieing up their fluffy red hair while they try to think up a question.

“Mkayy, let’s see ... uh, what is the name of those little one eyed monsters we fight?”

“ You must have been living underneath the BIGGEST rock not to know… ” The idol falsely pouted as she tried to muffle her laughter at the other. Honestly! What did she do to deserve encountering so much simpletons!? Surely, she couldn’t have been that outdated, right? She straightened her back.

“ CV01 Virtual Diva Hatsune Miku at your service! “ What a lengthy intro! Miku seemed to perk up quickly with a smile so sweet you could get cavities. “ I can sing, I can dance, I can do just about anything your heart desires! ”

“Well ... Yeah, I GUESS you could put it that way. That’s what caves are, dumbass.” They reply, quriking a brow in confusion. Although, she probably doesn’t realize Pyre is from another planet where she DOESN’T exist. And even if they were from somewhere that had Miku, well... it’s unlikely they’d care much for her. When she brings up how she could do anything their heart desires, they perk right up like a meerkat. Their eyes light up, and for a second, they look excited! 

“Really? Anything?” They ask, eyes sparkling. A beat of silence passes, and then their face twists into pure disgust. They shoo Miku away, voice haughty and firm.

“Then how about you get lost? You’re kind of annoying and unpleasant to look at.”
