Hey syndxlla! I’ve been following for a long while now and I remember when you were still posting updates for More To Love, I cant tell you how much this fanfic means to me! This has to be my favorite series (tv shows, books, movies, etc included) Your writing is so unique and beautiful that one can’t help but love it💞 to this day I still reread it and wait patiently for the sequel. I’ve noticed that you post more about LOZ, but I was wondering if you were going to post Arsonist’s Lullaby? Thx 💕

I’m so happy more to love is so celebrated. I will always want to finish the story in arsonists lullaby, and while i’ve started writing it, so much has changed. I’ve changed as a person, a writer, my audience has changed. I can’t imagine arsonists lullaby is as wanted now as it was a few years ago. I’m not really into Star Wars anymore. That makes it hard. I hated the most recent season of the mandalorian.

I am not completely throwing away that story, but i truly cannot make any promises. Im so sorry.

As per the previous anon I got, I do want to take a moment to rant about this topic that's been bothering me for years.

You can write smut for under aged characters.

I don't know why this is such a popular thing but I'm so tired of seeing people talk about the fact that you can't write a smut fic for characters under 18. I get it if you just don't feel comfortable writing/reading smut of characters under 18 (I personally don't feel comfortable about it) but to make it a "rule" that the characters have to be over 18 in canon or aged up to 18 is something that just really rubs me the wrong way.

Teenagers have sex all the time, it might not be as often as it was say 10-15 years ago but it still happens. Being a teenager doesn't make you immune to feeling sexual thoughts or actions. In fact, I even went to high school with people who had sex. There's also people who are having sex as young as 13. Trying to say otherwise is just factually incorrect.

Not to mention, so many original stories do include teenagers having sex. Heathers, 10 Things I Hate About You, Grease, and so many more are movies that take place in high schools and in all of these movies, there are characters under 18 that have sex, sometimes on screen.

Trying to maintain this narrative that being a child means you're not allowed to even know what the word "sex" isn't helping anything.

Again, if you don't like reading/writing smut of characters who aren't 18/aged up to 18 that's fine and I get it. But to say that it's a necessity is just pushing old Puritan values we don't need in fandoms.

I think the main reason Din Djarin landed so well from a fandom stand point (aside from it being fucking pedro pascal) is because of the unlimited imaginability of him.

This man is a living walking version of every trope you can think of. Forced proximity? You're his bounty. There's only one bed? Sharing the razor crest. Slow burn? He's a fucking Mandalorian that never takes his helmet off. Bondage kinks? Well, those binders aren't just for bounties. The fucking BLINDFOLD KINK??? You can't see his face. Oh, not the mention the enemies to lovers and friend to lovers tropes that just work sooooo well with him because of his emotional unavailability before Grogu.

All of these and more that i can't even think of but like??? He's just the perfect fandom character to write about or imagine scenarios about and yes he is our favorite man pedro pascal so obviously there's that too.

And i haven't even gotten to the tip of the iceberg here because there's just SO MUCH.

look i’m not gonna push the narrative that Yoko Ono is responsible for the break up of the Beatles because OBVIOUSLY she is not. However, there is something so tragically poetic about the idea of the Beatles being founded upon John and Paul and THEIR inseparable bond and clear love for one another (take this as mclennon or not because even platonically their relationship was next level) and their shared life only falling apart when one of them gained a different bond that was just as deep.
