I will preface this with the fact that I find this story adorable and fully agree that sharing your experiences and helping others process Gender Feelings is a Very Good Thing To Do.

I would like to add that, as far as I've understood the Egg Prime Directive is meant to remind folk that offering unsolicited diagnoses of transness is rude, and can even be harmful. The important part of that is the descriptor "unsolicited." If the egg isn't asking questions or inviting your opinion on the matter, the Prime Directive indicates we should let the egg learn about themself at their own pace.

Sharing your experiences or giving others an opportunity to learn about transness is an essential part of giving them the information and vocabulary to speak about their own Gender Feelings, whether or not they're trans themself. If someone had told me I was trans before I was ready, I would have reacted very badly. But if I had been given the information I needed to describe my own experience, I imagine I would have realized and come out much sooner.
