yeah it appears i haven't posted this one piece too! i think this the one after which i started spending more time on my shading instead of putting random blobs with soft brush.
i was also experimenting my design for espresso! i really like how there are so much different ideas on how to draw his mantle.
Knight Cookie for my friend!! Tried a new coloring techinque here. I think it makes everything so much softer.. Knight's hair came out SO fluffy i literally want to eat it, huh!

i think i won't work on fusion au anymore actually </3 but i'll share Shadowmoth fusion design and concepts!
Starting with the plot part of this fusion!
After Hawkmoth discovers the secret of merging different miraculous (ironically, with the help of his nemesis), he realises, that fusion is the key to success and overcoming Ladybug.
Hawkmoth suggests Mayura to fuse, despite the risks of fusing with broken miraculous, forming Shadowmoth. (I didn't change their name since i like it, but i have some options in mind in case i want to).
Obviously, the reason of most of Hawkmoth defeats is his lack of a proper plan and, ahem, actual stragedy. Luckily for him, Shadowmoth benefits calculating and tactical mind from Nathalie!
Dangerous than ever, careful and cold-blooded Shadowmoth is a much bigger threat to the citizens of Paris and its heroes. Ladybug and Chat Noir finally learn the true power of Hawkmoth Nathalie's mind and Hawkmoth's madness.
Shadowmoth won't show up a lot, since using (and especially fusing) broken miraculous is a great risk. At some point, just like in canon, Nathalie grows bedridden, meaning Gabriel have to find a new ally or.. stick by himself.

Figured out i hadn't post these concepts for my fusion au that i made in uhhh *checks notes* APRIL...? i thought i had drawn them in may or june at least💀
Anyway, back to business! Here's the concept:
Everybody knows that combining several miraculouses at once may be dangerous, and unificating the Ladybug and the Chat is forbidden at all.
So! For double security, one person can wield only one miraculous at a time. Need more? Well, that means you have to find a parnter to fuse!
Steven Universe fans or Dragon Ball fans already know how fusions work. And though i have not watched Dragon Ball, i think i got the point:
To fuse, the two (or more, if more miraculous are combined) must be willing to share their powers and concentrated on fusing. Different users prefer different ways to fuse: a dance, a handshake or a special move. Onve the fusion is done, minds of the users are combined as well! Though miraculous magic protects personal memories and secret identities.
Fusions in this au work the same way unifications do, but also bring more benefits to users: sometimes miraculous powers can become combined to transform into a new, unique one! Sometimes it just gives boost to powers. Transformed children can remain in hero form more than 5 minutes when fused.
Miraculous can't be snatched from a fusion. It's like glued. If it was possible to though, its holder will be snatched from the fusion as well.
Fusions don't get extra pairs of arms, legs, eyes or anything. But they tend to be higher than normal people. Well, in most cases. You'll see an example for this exception soon.
Bonus fact: fusions' superhero suits ARE their bodies! :D This means, they have spandex as actual skin for most of their bodies! (Also this means every fusion us, in fact, nonbinary biologically. But they can choose their pronounces, so RougeBug uses she/they, Shell Chat uses he/they and Shadow Moth is they/them!)

Here are first fusions i've came up with:
Shell Chat and Rouge Bug (The Knight and his Leader)
Shell Chat is a fusion between Carapace and Chat Noir. Their main purpose - protecting his ladies, Ladybug or Rena Rouge, or Rouge Bug in some cases. Able to create stronger shields. Also his shields can have another layer of protection, made with Cataclysm. Touching a shield charged with cataclysm doesn't kill a person, but can harm
Rouge Bug, the perfect strategist, is the fusion of Ladybug and Rena Rouge. The two of them balance fantastically great, which makes Rouge Bug a very stable fusion.
As said above, they can create more stable illusions. When dispelled they restore themselves immedeately. Though, these illusions still can't last forever
