โI need you.โ
Character B stopped dead in their tracks. Theyโd been feeling mild distaste before, a trickle of aggregation. But now anger flowed through them like a flood of hot lava. A volcano about to bubble over.
Character B spun around
โNo. No, you donโt. You just need someone to love you, to want you,โ B spat, shaking under the weight of the feeling, โyouโre so god damn used to a crowd fucking chasing after you that without them, you feel fucking worthless. So you came crawling to me for self validation. Because Iโm so fucking pathetic arenโt I?โ A crack in the ground, sizzle and burning rocks, โbecause you know Iโll always fucking love you. Because you know Iโll always worship you like youโre some fucking Old Testament god, like all your punishment and pain you inflict on me is fucking righteous.โ
There was so much space between them. A chasm. One that Character A couldnโt reach across. So they stared at the wreckage theyโd created, wide eyed, remorseful, their heart clenching painfully.
โBut not anymore,โ B whispered, turning their back on A, โnot anymore.โ
