We're a recently discovered OSDD system, and this is gonna be our system blog and/or diary. Unlikely to post much, as enthusiasm levels are jumping around wildly right now and there's a lot to figure out. But feel free to drop an ask and we'll do our best to answer!
Facets, their roles, and predicted activity:
• Sleepy - Dark Green - She/Her - Host, director - Most frequent poster
• Sniper - Pitch Black - It/Its - Caretaker, protector, trauma holder, animalistic, non-vocal - Likely to make image posts
• M - Pink - She/Her - Little, trauma and depression holder - Won't post
You may notice the use of non-color facet names and symbols over their heads, both of which are uncommon for other blogs. These are all nicknames, save for a few who don't care or actively dislike them. As for the symbols, they're just a shorthand for use in art and such, based on eye shapes.
We will not engage in syscourse
There is not a single facet here who enjoys arguing online.
I've never written an intro post before, I'm not sure what else I should add here lol. Facet number and appearances are fairly likely to change as we work things out, idk
This was originally going to be a comic about our syscovery, but said syscovery is inextricably tied to Sniper, so the comic became about its behavior and influence.
We started suspecting we were a system a couple months ago, but it was four years ago that Sniper asserted its individuality. Most of us have been around much longer, but given we have no amnesia, we all just thought we were one person with inconsistent wants, beliefs, and behavior. Sniper was the first to make clear it was an individual with its own agency.
We didn't know much about systems and were going through a pagan phase, so when it first appeared to us we (including Sniper) believed it was a spirit of some sort, like a familiar. Faced with the sudden realization I had someone else in my head, I began to interact with it almost every day. It became a deeply ingrained part of my life, and often took control at times when we were alone. Unlike the other two main trauma holders, Red and M, who stay quiet most of the time, Sniper is very active and communicative.
The point is: My relationship with Sniper has had a four-year head start. If I'm in front, Sniper is co-conscious more often than not. Because of that, the beast has played a key role in a long, long chain of personal discoveries.
Are there any odd or dumb things that have made you guys accidentally switch? Like how earlier today when two of us managed to switch by staring at a disco ball. I don’t understand it

We had the one with Slate and I switching because I thought of The Character too hard and that JUST happened this morning.Dijon killed by the character thoughts…
I can’t really think of others! Usually it’s just random or something kinda common like a song we like or a video… I’m interested if anyone else has their own
Sniper started this in a frantic daze Saturday, and finished it in four hours. Based on a conversation in headspace with Red during lunch. The text isn't word-for-word what was spoken, just a Red-approved summary.
