Created a painting and animation of my face, based on a photograph, where my complicated brush strokes and custom approach to visuals slowly morph into a static, still, digital rendering. This was meant to convey a sense of transformation and loss, a shift from the identity of the “artist” to the “designer”, coupled with a loss of positive personality traits since moving to Edinburgh. The digital overtakes the traditional in a cold, creeping sense. The animation is played to the song “Everything in its Right Place” by Radiohead, a song written after the lead singer’s mental breakdown from stress and disillusionment with the modern world following overwhelming career success of their OK Computer album.
Poster for Bedlam Theatre’s production of the Glass Menagerie
Final poster series for Paradigm Lab’s production of The Man From Earth; a story about a 10,000 year old ageless caveman, John, who must convince his academic friends of his origins. Based on the 2007 movie, Paradigm will be putting on this production end of February-beginning of March, so if you’re in Edinburgh don’t forget to catch it!
The posters deal with John’s isolation and ethereal memory which has experienced thousands upon thousands of historic events, human connections and geographical wonders. From Tibet to Phoenicia, from the Lowlands to the walls of Harvard, John’s journey is recounted in a single scene where his friends’ scepticism - and sometimes anger - will clash with his story.
Logo for the John Stuart Mill Cup, organised by the University of St Andrews. The classic element the Cup exudes with its ties to philosophy, discussion and social science was something I wanted to reference. I wanted something that would work from up close and far away, and so I opted for a profile view of John Stuart himself, which adds a hidden angle to the logo as well as a point from which to place text on. I created a hand drawn recreation of John Stuart Mill's face and vectorised it, akin to the Nobel Prize logo featuring Alfred Nobel.

The announcement poster for the Man from Earth, a theatrical adaptation by Paradigm of the 2007 film. I’ve been commissioned to create all of their digital visuals, including social media advertisement.
This image is based on the excerpt from the script: “Turbulence. I meet people, learn a name, say a word, and they're gone. Others come, like waves, rising and falling. Like ripples in a wheat-field, blown by the wind.” In this way, I wanted to emulate the emotional turbulence that 10,000 years of memories can leave you with.
Show premieres in the next few months and am very excited to see it!
From a letterpress project for uni; “A Moment in History”. I chose David Bowie’s Top of the Pops performance of Starman, one which changed the future of art rock and alt-culture forever.
I used wood blocks and a combination of marine, red and white inks, later altered digitally in Photoshop

Listens to a revolutionary masterpiece. Decides to make a dumb parody of it.
