As much as i love Bevin, a lot of the fans feel verrrryyy...like they dont exactly like women🤔🤔 like almost every bevin fan hates gwen or julie for no reason other than the fact they get in the way of the ship which kinda puts me off from the ship as a whole (which is why I dont post it much😅)

i want to adress a subject that's very important to me, bc i believe it really is that deep.

as you already know, people who constantly hate on killugon always bring up their age, they say that shipping them is gross because they are underage. i obviously disagree, but i'll go even further by saying that we NEED more young queer stories. of characters who are preteens. yes i'm serious, i think there should be more queer children in media. ofc i'm not saying that we should make gay stories about six year olds, but the ages 11-13 are when most queer people realize they are queer. i can say from experience that you feel very lonely at this point in your life, bc everyone your age is starting to be interested in having relationships, and you just are completely alone in your queerness.

if you think that representation doesn't matter, then you do not need representation. however marginalised groups can be very comforted by their favorite characters being like them. i do not know where i would be now if it wasn't for killugon and the other gay ships that got me through middle school, when I had litteraly no queer people in my life at all. positive representation is very important for queer children, because at an age where you believe that you are disgusting for being queer, finding a queer story beautiful makes you realize that you deserve to be who you are and that there is beauty in your identity. it completely deconstructs all the hate and homophobia you have been taught.

i litteraly remember very vividly the feeling i got while watching the "you are light" scene as a child. it is sososo comforting and validating to relate to your favorite characters in that way.

another argument killugon-antis often use is that "it's a shounen, there shouldn't be any focus on romance", but a lot of shounen do focus on romance a lot at times. naruto for example had a lot of romantic themes between its characters, yet it was considered perfectly normal for a shounen. queer people deserve to get represented in multiple different genres in the way cishet people are,, and no they don't always have to be depicted as adults.

people tend to only accept queer representation if it is adult characters, in medias that ARE about being queer— and i don't want representation to be so restrictive. gay & trans kids deserve to feel seen too, and they often need it.

I really liked the Spiderboy and Spidergirl fic and I was wondering if you still worked on like stories, snippets or oneshots in that AU or if we ever gonna get more content on that.
