I feel like there’s a lot of imagines for reuniting with your f/o after a long period of time, but not a lot of what happens after that!

This can be read as your f/o having been lost, assumed dead, just on a really long trip, or pretty much anything else!

-You sit in bed for a long time, doing absolutely nothing but feeling each other’s presence. It’s such a welcome feeling having that familiar indent in the mattress filled in again.

-Going and doing chores and errands you could really do alone together just for the sake of not being apart again.

-In the few times you’re without them for whatever reason, you’ll think of them and feel that wave of grief and longing wash over you, and you have to remind yourself that now it’s ok, because they’re here, they’re back, and they won’t leave again.

-Speaking of which, many late nights are spent with them whispering those reassurances to you, telling you they’ll never leave you and you won’t be alone again while they hold you close.

-You’ll try to watch television or movies, but you both always find yourself ignoring the TV as you stare at each other’s faces, trying to make up for all the time you couldn’t look at them.

-At the end of the day, all the time alone was worth it to finally feel them with you again, just their presence in your arms is enough to make you feel whole.
