Here are we again, another Saturday, another Spotlight! And itās actually on a Saturday too! And this weeks Spotlight: @dunloth!!!
Before I begin with this weekās spotlight, some things to note:
These Spotlight Saturdays are my way of saying thank you and giving some love to my friends and other content creators in the fandoms Iām in. SO, as long as I am physically able to, I will spotlight someone. If I havenāt gotten to you yet, chances are, I will, at some point in the future.
If you want to nominate someone for it, or want to nominate yourself (hey, give yourself some credit too!) then please go ahead and add their name to the sheet I have up here. My only request is that if the artist or fic writer does do a lot of NSFW work/writing, you note it for me. Ā

That all said, here we go with this weekās Spotlighted Author (and artist):
As is the recent theme, Iāve only started reading Dunlothās works maybe 2 or 3 months ago? And actually, I only got to know Dunloth a few months ago after I joined the @tenzoscabin Discord Server. There, I got to know this really kind and really talented author!Ā
I think the first fic I ever read by Dunloth was actually The Sixth Element back in May. For a fic that was written in only 90 minutes, that is one amazing story!Ā But, thatās not the only amazing 90 minutes written story by Dunloth. Thereās also this one Without the Mask Where will you Hide with some lovely art drawn by @animetrashmuffin who was inspired by it!Ā
Besides being a master at writing fics in 90 mins (and that is hard work, so kudos to Dunloth!) Dunloth is also extremely talented because their mother tongue is not English, but Spanish! Thatās right: Dunloth works hard and writes fics in English for us to enjoy even though itās not their mother tongue! How amazing is that? And Dunloth actually does have fics in Spanish in the Naruto fandom! For those who are curious, hereās a link to las historias de Naruto en Espanol!Ā
And you know how at least one artist was inspired by @dunlothāās works. Well, theyāre not the only one. Take a look at Looking at You, yet another fic which inspired an artist to draw! In Chapter 8, the amazing @sinyaruā drew this!Ā
This is yet another amazingly talented author whose work I have shamelessly not read. (Iām catching up slowly: I promise!) What I have read though is amazing. In fact, it is so good that I have told Dunloth their depiction of ANBU Kakashi is one of my writing goals. Seriously, if youāve never read Dunlothās work or donāt know if youād like to, I highly recommend reading their work Safety Regulations.Ā
Jounin at TwelveĀ Ā is another fic of Dunlothās that I really like along with Once More with FeelingĀ .Ā
And letās not forget So Close and Yet so Far written in 2019. Another absolute MUST READ!Ā
And which ones does @dunlothā recommend as their favorite fics written by them?Ā
How about Stranded: a KakaIru Space Pirates AU? Or what about Pillow Talk for Fake Lovers?Ā Or better yet, what about a nice Kakashi Birthday Fic (in celebration of Kakashiās upcoming birthday) such as Mid-Life Crisis?Ā
And that is just the bare bones of Dunlothās writing.Ā
Iām telling you, half of my NarutoĀ āMarked for Laterā reading are solely Dunlothās works. Iām really excited to sit down and read them when I have the time because so far, everything Iāve read has been SO GOOD! And I really do mean that. Dunloth has a gift for writing Kakashi so well, so in character that you canāt help but think:Ā āWow, that was a really good story!ā And like I said before, Dunloth is my writing goals when it comes to ANBU Kakashi. They write him so well there!
In fact, Dunloth writes so well that I recommend everyone to click here and go read their stuff on A03!Ā
Oh, and for those of you like me who like a good soulmate AU from time to time, letās not forget Dreamscape. Itās still a WIP, but hey, if a good author needs time to write, then I will humbly wait (and eagerly too) and click like crazy when that new chapter drops because I know that story will be good!Ā

Before writing for the Naruto fandom Dunloth wrote a lot of fanfiction for years, en espanol, forĀ the Buffy the Vampire Slayer fandom. If youāre curious and can read Spanish, or are going to teach yourself Spanish as you read along (like me) then take a look at dunlothās Spanish Buffy fics here!Ā Ā (The pseud name is different! Itās delirante!)Ā
Oh, and for those of you who have a twitter (and for those of you who just so happen to have Dunloth in one of your servers) you may know that Dunloth always finds the most amazing art to share from there! In fact, thereās a lovely Irezumi piece of artwork that Dunloth shared (after finding it on Twitter) that may or may not have inspired a story for me.Ā
Iāve only barely covered the amazing stories and writing Dunloth has shared with us. BUT, if you are anything like me and love to read good fanfiction, you now have yet another author that you should add to yourĀ āI want to readā pile! Trust me, you wonāt regret it!Ā

Youāve been so nice to me as I share my writing, even giving me advice on a few of my own stories! Thank you!
