It was 855 days ago our two finalists entered the hallowed doors of Tumblr Rumblr Headquarters – green to the horrors of interdimensional fisticuffs – today, though, we are proud to say we have witnessed the development of not only their characters, but also their talent, and the results are INCREDIBLE. Both Nekovale and Effkaytales have continued to refine their skills and blossom into amazing artists, and we are incredibly excited to see where their talent will take them next, and what stories they plan to tell. Regardless the results, BOTH of you have created something INCREDIBLE that will stay with all of us for a long time to come!

We here at headquarters would like to thank ALL the competitors and followers of this OCT for supporting it- this iteration was a difficult, bumpy road, filled with nearly as many perils as the competition itself! But it’s thanks to your imaginations, energy, and passion that this OCT became something special, and we can’t thank you enough for sharing a little piece of yourself with us.

Announcement: Final Round Entries! Judging in Progress
We are proud to announce that after almost 2 months of hard work, Tumblr Rumblr 2’s Final Round has come to a close!!
LET’S GIVE A BIG ROUND OF APPLAUSE TO OUR TWO FINALISTS, @effkaytales and @nekovale!!
After chaining themselves to their desks, reaching deep in their wells of creativity, and toiling endless hours powered only by the hellish energy which comes with sleep deprivation, they both have completed incredible entries for this final round. The product of their sweat, blood, and tears in comic form will be posted on the blog soon!
Now, the journey which awaits our attention… The Final Round Judging Period. Our panel of judges will thoroughly read through our finalists entries. They will start at the beginning of both Drille and Meg’s first round to the final round to give a fair judgement of our finalists overall experience in the tournament. When the decision is made, which will be ultimately based on their final submission, the announcement of the Winner and Runner Up of Tumblr Rumblr 2 will be announced... next week!

Description:
It may not use brute force to deal damage, but fueled by the negative energy of Babbu’s powers and the dark side of all childhoods, it is not to be taken lightly. It aims to strike fear in its prey, immobilize them, then turn them into dolls. Although cryptic in its words, the Storyteller will describe its desires and motivations through poetry, long narratives, and purple prose. The tales it tells is of its prey’s demise through sinister, but silly nursery rhymes.
Two contestants who seemed to have gotten away and, with their powers, could warn any remaining survivors. With Leska incapacitated, there may be no one left to stop the Storyteller from this lucrative rampage... or is there? You can do anything you can to survive: Run, hide, find its weakness, investigate the broken machine, or fold yourself in the fetal position... or FIGHT!

The long awaited conclusion to the epic rumblr saga is nearly upon us! We plan to start the final round within a week. So start stretching your drawing hands, writing your wills, recharging your thirst for blood, and dusting off your battle implements, because the final round will be here before you can say "announcerdidnothingwrong."
As for the rest of you who still check back in on this blog, thanks for sticking with us! Its been about a year since Tumblr Rumblr 2 started now, and we've had our share of good and bad moments throughout.
