My don't starve OC. He dreams of becoming a sailor. A REAL sailor—just like his father, his grandfather, his great-grandfather, and so on you get it. He is fascinated by the romance of the sea and wants to be super cool. That’s why he studies at naval academy.
At heart, Weller is a real brat: impulsive, explosive even, courageous, and a bit naive.
And then one day, when he’s supposed to set off on his first voyage together with the other cadets…Weller didnt show up. Well—he did show up, but by the time he came there it was already too late and the ship sailed away without him.
..All because of that strange whisper on the radio his mother asked him to fix before he left… It frightened him and because of it he missed the ship!
His first voyage and now his first failure! What a SHAME! A shame not only for him, but for his parents, his whole family!
What is he gonna tell them now?..
The sky was reproachfully overcast. The sea was restless. Lost in his heavy thoughts, Weller walked along the shore… until he heard a question from a tall stranger who had unexpectedly joined his gloomy stroll... They struck up a small conversation, and the stranger in a striped suit with a rose on his lapel offered the completely lost Weller a way to make sure no one will ever know about his failure. Nobody.
That was how Weller ended up in the Constant.
