Long few days! It feels good to let things go and let people do their thing and know if they fuck up itās on them! Life goes on!
Nap time! Just love she falls asleep on me!
How do you keep your one A hole child from rubbing off on your other children or even just protect them! I have a whole new understanding of why some kids are A holes! I have done everything to give my daughter what she needs and wants but also try to raise her to have respect for others and all she wants to do if fight it! She doesnāt get attention she wants then everyone gets the wrath! Sheās old enough to understand and knows exactly what sheās doing. It just sucks itās gonna take a huge negative event for her to get it together! I just pray she turns around before that happens and realizes the world does not revolve around her and what real life is!
F Motherās Day! I appreciate my momma and everything she has done but Motherās Day is a joke when you have a Ahole as a kid! She seems to mess it up every year with the back talk and not listen! And this year I donāt get to see my momma because of covid and itās just another day!
It takes a village! I have been blessed to have some amazing women in my life showing me what it takes to be a mom as well as a strong women! I donāt have pictures of everyone! Marilyn you are missed and thought about daily! Happy Motherās Day!
My highest weight was 277 when I was 9 months pregnant with my last kiddo! Goal weight 150! Currently weight 229. I am excited to see where my new journey will take me! šŖ
I think the worse thing about starting a new job is waiting for that first paycheck! šµ Because your last check fell on the last day of the pay period and you started in the middle of a pay periods!!! How frustrating š¤Æ
But not this time! I started about 2 weeks ago and I have already getting paid! šš¼ And I did it all from my phone! Drop a ā¤ļø if your wanting to do the same!

My oldest was at her dads tonight until 7. She gets home and everything changes. The house is louder, the energy is heighten and my patience is thrown ourt the window and I absolutely hate feeling that way! She walks in the door and the whole house is turned upside down!
When the older sister is away I get to do things like this! Date night with my little man!
My daughter is 11 and she is amazing but a handful at the same time. It takes a lot to be her mother. My daughter was diagnosed with ADHD at age 4 and it seems like it is just getting worse. I have tried everything to know to help her. When I divorced her dad when she was 3, I noticed things were different with her and I couldnāt tell if it was the divorce or something more. We did theraphy together and it seems as though she had ADHD and we also needed to work on our relationship as mother and daughter. I worked full time and her dad watched her until the divorce. Then she went to childcare and was put in a more structure environment, which she fought and still fights. After trying theraphy and seeing other options to help her focus and calm down we decided to try medications. Each year her behavior got worse. Then 3 days after her last day of 1st grade she was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. This changed our world in a heartbeat. She was admitted to the local childrenās hospital and we spent 3 days learning all about diabetes, how to manage her diabetes, how diabetes will change how we do everything. That was 4 years ago this June. Since then diabetes has only added to more problems to her behavior issues. Each year it seems to be a new challenge with her and nothing we do seems to make any progress.
I recently read a book called Positive Discipline by Dr. Jane Nelsen and in the forward, it talks about how for years we learned how raise and teach our children from our grandparents, parents, aunts, uncles who lived with or near us. After WWII people began to spread out and stopped reaching out to each other for advice. āThose who did not replace family and community support systems with networks of fellow travelers often covered feelings of inadequacy and lack of knowledge about what to do with a false sense of pride in āhandling their own problemsā. They adopted the belief that people shouldnāt discuss family business with strangers. It became important to them to hide their problems and handle them., often very ineffectively, behind closed doors. They traded in wisdom and principles acquired over centuries for books and theories untried and untested.ā I strongly believe that this is why our society is the way it is, and I donāt necessarily agree with that. I tend to be very open about my life and what is going on with me. The bible says do not rely on your own understanding which causes me to feel we do need other people to help us in our daily life and we should be honest about whatās going on because you never know who you might help or who might help you. People feel so alone these days because no one speaks up. I feel that if I can speak up, I might help someone who was afraid to or felt alone and didnāt know what to do. I am doing this for self theraphy and if I help someone out in the meantime even better! So here is my story.
Who am I? I think we are constantly asking ourselves that. Today I am a mother, wife, daughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin, friend, child of God, medical assistant, histotech, leader, conscious thinker, reserved, listener, optimistic, stronger than I was yesterday, believer, persistent, hard worker, hard on myself, adopted, realistic, emotional eater, person pleaser, caregiver .......
I feel I am meant for more than I am currently doing. I have a lot to say and it may not be what everyone wants to hear but someone might want to listen! I want to share my experiences past and present and my goals in life so that maybe someone looking for someone else like them wonāt feel so alone in life! Be an inspiration for someone! Learn from my mistakes. See life through a different perspective. I donāt promise that I will always be positive and up beat because thatās not real life. I do promise to be real and learn from what I write and what others have to say. Thank you for enduring this thing we call life with me and I hope you enjoy the ride!
