@tabby-dryden
Jake sighed as she took the bottle from his hand, not understanding why she wasn't more excited about the swan. This was why they could never actually date–she had no whimsy. "Obviously, I'm having a wonderful time." He reached across the hot tub to pull the swan back towards him so that he now had two glasses. "Have you successfully managed to seduce Jesse yet, or are you locked in on someone else?"
Tabby smiled at Jake, he certainly looked like he was having a good time. She didn't get the swans, but he looked great tonight. "I can see that. I am happy." She laughed at his question. "Unfortunately, no. But I do not think he could handle me. Plus, I had someone else in mind." She leaned over the side of the tub, holding the bottle above his head. "Open up."
If Sam Watts was staying out of trouble tonight then he'd have to do backflips and somersaults to stay out of Tabby Dryden's way. Because if there was one thing that Sam knew a mile off, it was a dangerous woman. Being here tonight was already a game of chance, you know? So far, so good but it could still turn. He sipped his drink before realising he'd been caught staring at her (him and everyone else, mind you). Sam raised his hand up to wave at her across the room, mouthing, "Hey."
Tabby smirked as she spotted Sam Watts staring at her. She hadn't seen him for more than a minute since last summer. No hard feelings from her; she definitely understood why he wouldn't want to get too involved. Tonight, he looked too good to remember their failed situation. She blew a kiss at him, a smirk on her face.
"Come join me." She shouted above the music. She knew that dancing with the host's ex was a horrible idea. But that was Tabby's idea of fun, all the wrong choices with the wrong people.
Latife had been having the time of her life as always with her two favourite idiots (read: Theo and Freddie). She had taken a small recess to go hunting for a better bottle of booze when she spotted Tabby in the middle of the floor. Of course all eyes were on her girl, where else would they be? Licking her lips, Latife swiped the nearest bottle of - what was that? - Gin? Tequila? It was in a fancy decanter, anyway, and headed over to her.
"Hi babe!" Latife grinned widely, smooching her pretty face in greeting and waving the decanter at her. "I thought I was going to die earlier without ever seeing you in a bikini tonight. I mean, seriously, can you even imagine. Tragedy of the fucking year! Did you miss me?"
Tabby knew that everyone was looking at her, who wouldn't be. She looked hot tonight and was at the center of the party. She could feel everyone's eyes on her, and she lived for it. She had never shied away from the spotlight in fact, she ran towards it more often than not. "Babe!" She squealed with a grin on her face.
She grabbed the decanter from Latife. She had missed her best friend; she knew she had gotten stuck at the art gallery thing. Besides the celebrities, it sounded awful. "Seriously, it would have been a huge loss for you! Especially for a boring ass art gallery. I always miss you, I don't know how I made it through this party without you."
Sapphire could barely remember what she'd been pissed off with Tabby about. That was nothing new, though. What she knew tonight was that she looked super hot and if she was dancing, they were dancing. Sapphire appeared at Tabby's side with a wide grin, her arms already around her. Whether it was the tequila or the dress, Sapphire felt like they were starting again. Until the next drama, at least.
"Told you this was going to be the party of the year, Tab," she said. "You're glad you came, right?"
Tabby was always happy when they got along. She could fight with Sapphire as much as she needed, but they were so much better off as friends. Maybe the Upper East Side was in danger of burning down with a united front. And that was always a fun possibility. They were going to have fun, at least until the next time one of them pissed the other off.
"You were right, sorry for making fun of your idea. But you gotta say hooking up Jesse sounded like a lame party." She nodded her head. "Very glad. Drinks on the Vanderbilts are always a good time."
Breakfast at Tiffany's (1961) dir. Blake Edwards
Tabby had been excited to be invited tonight, mostly because it meant Sapphire had forgiven her for whatever their last fight was. All she remembered was a slap and a drink to the face, nothing new for them. Time healed all superficial wounds; they could always get over their stuff. She had already hit on Jesse more than once, but if she was honest, he wasn't fully her type. Totally gorgeous, he was too nice and always looking for a relationship.
So she had moved onto the dance floor, letting everyone look at her. They deserved a spectacle, and that's exactly what Tabby was.

"Look at this beautiful face! Where did you get a face so beautiful?" @tfrstarters
"Oh wow, yes, I am so pretty. We all know. But be careful with the makeup, babe."
OFF CAMPUS | Season 1, Episode 2, "The Practice"
"You want one of these? I'll get–... Hold on." Ever since he had found his way into one of the hot tubs, Jake had been obsessed with the inflatable birds that were designed to keep your drink floating on the water. He poured–spilled?–champagne into two and proceeded to push the little swan over to the other person. "Are you seeing this? That's a frickin' swan!"
@tfrstarters
Tabby watched as Jake attempted to get her a glass of champagne. "It is a swan. A bartender you are not, though." She took the bottle from him and took a drink. "Much better. How's the party going?"
"Mm... That's- No, that's really interesting. What was the secret ingredient again?" Jesse was using every ounce of his willpower not to make a face as he tried the drink they'd been kind enough to make them. If he lived through this party, it might just be a miracle now. @tfrstarters
Tabby couldn't watch this anymore. "Sorry, girl, time's up. Gotta save him before you put him to sleep." She grabbed Jesse's arm, pulling him away. "Shouldn't have walked away from me, handsome."
♛ Spotted on the Upper East Side…
Name: Tabitha Taoutel-Dryden Pronouns: She/Her Birthday: 15th June 2004 Hometown: Upper East Side, NY Occupation: Influencer/Trust-Fund Baby Faceclaim: Mika Abdalla
Who Is Tabby?
“Boys only want love if it's torture, don't say I didn't, say I didn't warn ya!”
Tabby Taoutel-Dryden... Where would the Upper East Side be without you? Sleeping soundly, probably. You never met a wrong turn you didn't have to take, a scandal you weren't at the center of, a set of lips with a bad reputation you didn't have to kiss! Life is for living, isn't it? And you certainly never disappoint. You don't mess around when it comes to what you want and you always say what's on your mind. You rarely learn your lesson and you're easily underestimated (a mistake, I know). Most of all, you love to have fun. If there's a party worth being at, you're there and so am I. XOXO —Gossip Girl
A Little Extra
Tabby learned one very important lesson early on in her life: you're no one until you're talked about (thank you Gossip Girl). There was a formula to being popular that she studied and executed with precision. Tabby has never been most academic, the book smartest, but she isn't clueless. She sees a lot more than anyone gives her credit for. Tabby can pick up on other people's vibes pretty easily (she's not psychic, okay! It's intuition) and is very good at making an educated guess. She loves to giggle and gossip, and kiss all the wrong people. A part of her has always thrived when there's drama even if she has to create it herself. She likes bright, passionate, fleeting relationships and memories to hold onto forever. Everyone on the Upper East Side has a reputation and Tabby knows hers inside and out. She's a good time girl, she's always at the best parties and already dancing on the tables as we speak. Tabby doesn't give a damn what other people think of her, they can think whatever they like. She loves herself and she loves her life. Anyone who isn't on board with that is a loser in her book. Tabby does have a big heart and she follows it every time, especially if it'll get her into trouble. Tabby doesn't believe in regrets and she isn't about to start now. There is truly nothing that can bring her down.
What Does Gossip Girl Have On Them?
Nothing she wouldn't do again!
Connections
Sapphire Vandervort - her biggest frenemy. Sapphire and Tabby have known each other their whole lives. They're either best friends or worst enemies, dancing close together and laughing, or stabbing each other in the back. That's just how it's always been.
Latife Levent - best bitches! Tabby and Latife were destined to be a lethal combination. You should always surround yourself with the best, hottest, most fun people you can. She's so happy to have Latife.
Theo Hart and Freddie Redlynn - these two boys are always good for a wild night of debauchery and dumbassery. Tabby never misses a text re: a group hang with them.
Jake Hunter - dated back in high school. Tabby might have tried to tutor Jake for like, a minute, but she could only do her best. Since then, they've hooked up on and off.
