You're welcome :) Glad I can help. Labels suck sometimes because they try to put you in boxes which we don't all fit into, but nobody says you have to identify with just one (we're complex beings with complex feelings)...or with any at all. Identify how you want.

It's why I have a love/hate relationship with identifying as queer. It's an umbrella term that encompasses the non-heteronormative nature of my identity but it's just so vague and people sometimes assume it just means gay, which I don't identify as. And for simplicity's sake I usually say bi because it pretty much covers the basic gist without going into all the specifics.

what does it mean to be panromantic ambiphilic semi-demi heteroflexible?

It means sexuality is complicated.

There are lots of ways to love and lots of types of attraction (aesthetic attraction, primary vs. secondary sexual attraction, sensual attraction, romantic attraction, emotional attraction, platonic friend love, etc.) and it often gets confusing.

Pan romantic means I have the potential to fall romantically in love with anyone regardless of gender.

Ambiphilic means I love both/either of the biological sexes as opposed to being a gynophile (lover of women) or an androphile (man-lover).

Semi-demi is something I kindof made up. Demisexual is a complicated term that in the simplest form means that sexual attraction forms after a romantic/emotional connection has been made. In other words, finding someone incredibly aesthetically pleasing does not make them automatically sexually attractive to you, and random sex acts with no deeper or prior connection are basically meaningless and un-desirable. As it applies to me...DFMO with a friend, a friend of a friend, someone I've been crushing on in my classes, or someone I've been texting/talking to for months, sure!! But DFMO with some rando who started grinding up on me at a party just because we're drunk and there's music and one or both of us is possibly horny...no, not appealing. I don't know that I really meet all the criteria for being demi- though because it's kindof along the same spectrum as asexuals/grey A which definitely doesn't describe me, so I call myself a semi-demi because sometimes I think it describes me perfectly and other times I'm not so sure. I'm still figuring it out.

Heteroflexible just means I identify as leaning more towards straight at this point in terms of primary sexual attraction.

In a nutshell:Aestetically: Men and Women are pretty equally highPrimary sexual attraction: leaning towards majority men (like 70/30)Secondary sexual attraction: still primarily men but not so much so (like 55/45)Romantic attraction: bothEmotional attraction: leaning towards primarily women (like 80/20)Platonic/friend love: primarily women (like 90/10)

If only more people could understand that love is expressed in myriad ways, and that one expression of love is NOT above any other kind of expression of it. Every expression is unique and powerful in its own right. It takes an open mind and heart to be able to accept and welcome an individual’s way of expressing love, whether or not it is how one wishes to best receive it.

Architect Bart Prince dreamt up a fantastical house in Columbus, Ohio, distinguished by dynamic, flowing spaces. The owner describes the home as a place for big kids with, for instance, secret passageways hidden within the masonry walls. A 75-foot-long serpentine pool, lined with mirror-and-glass mosaics, winds its way along the lower level of the house. “The owner wanted a lap pool running through a tropical garden, with palm trees and bananas and views of the sky,” the architect says. “The living spaces are arranged around that.”
