I’m making bread for the first time and I have no idea why it’s been so terrifying of an experience so far.

Well, that’s a lie. I’m very inexperienced in making baked goods of any sort that isn’t a lasagna. I’m terrified I’m doing everything wrong.

The bread has been baked and I think it turned out mostly alright. Probably should have laid down some parchment paper before baking but I now know for the next time.

I’m trying to be an adult today and try to get some affordable health insurance. Honestly, I just want something that’s not 200USD a month out of my paycheck, y’know?

I’m about to go through the process on the ACA website since it’s open enrollment. It’s just really nerve wracking since i’ve only ever been on either my mom’s insurance or whatever the fuck my work gives me.

So this was the one I mentioned got destroyed in the sketchbook. I think I did alright in my preservation of it. I can almost forget I had even damaged it in the first place.

I’ve finally scanned in the majority of my sketchbooks. I’m so happy.

Of course, it also reminded me about the time I tried too hard to be a homestuck fan I even made a bad fantroll because that was the hip thing to do at the time.

Related to this a bit, now I’m trying to, essentially, digitally recreate/restore something I accidentally destroyed in an emotional state I highly regret having let myself fall into. The sketches were something I had been proud of upon completion.

It hurts to look at the damage. I hate myself for having caused it. All I can do is try to remake it with what survived.

tbh, I wouldn’t have made it if I hadn’t hung around people who actually did invest their time into making more fan material. I did the occasional drawing, but I feel like, even when I try to remember what I felt about the comic, I didn’t really feel much for the series overall. It was more like, the people around me liked it, so I decided to like it, too.

Huh, no wonder I don’t really trust most of my interests.
