If there is one thing that 2020 has taught me is becoming more aware. Aware of my surrounding, myself and the moment. Learning to be in the now and enjoying the present moment that you are experiencing to the fullest has been and still is not easy for me. Yet it is very rewarding and makes me truly happy. Awareness leads me to being able to actually savor the moments I have vs. always thinking about what's next and what has been.

Nature and the outdoors suck me into the present moment and I enjoy every piece of it.

So this happened 3 weeks ago - a quick trip to the US and A for an employee event which my employer was so generous to invite me to. The Adobe For All Summit in San Jose was incredible to say the least and it was an eye opening experience to talk, hear, and learn about diversity and inclusion from trusted colleagues. We at Adobe foster the conversation around diversity and inclusion, ensure to give everybody a voice and leverage the power that comes with it. Truly inspiring and an experience I will draw from for quite some time.

I was able to extend my stay for a few days and took the opportunity to explore the west coast very briefly. My colleague, friend and now travel companion and breakfast buddy Tobias (the smart looking guy to the right in the picture with the three dudes) was so kind to take me along last minute on his planned tour. San Francisco, Highway 1 and Los Angeles as quick stops in just 3 days. We certainly made the most out of it and had a blast! I will let the pictures speak for themselves. Can’t wait to tour the west coast with my bike someday.

The cherry to top it off were the two sweeties from the picture which I was able to see for a few hours in their home town LA shortly before my return flight back to Germany. It was really good to see you guys! Keep it vegan! :-*
