Itâs after nights like this one past where I could not slept without being plagued by nightmares that I become bitter. I think to myself, without hesitation, that in the end they were the lucky ones. Heartache, pain, struggle â they are free of them now, and itâs those they left behind that took on those burdens threefold. Thereâs a sense of outrage, like everything could have been controlled. A foul and unfair aftertaste for events that do not deserve it. But sixteen years of reliving that moment on a nightly basis: surely thatâs just torture, and my resentment is understandable? Though Iâve noticed itâs them I resent more than him. They did not suffer. He did.

I am not good. I am not virtuous. I am not sympathetic. I am not generous. I am merely and above all a creature of intense passionate feeling. I feelâeverything. It is my genius. It burns me like fire.

Life isnât something you can give an answer to today. You should enjoy the process of waiting, the process of becoming what you are. There is nothing more delightful than planting flower seeds and not knowing what kind of flowers are going to come up.

listening to him saying that sculpting wasnât his strong point she frowned. it would have made her even more attractive to the not so innocent eyes of the half drunk female. yet he was familiar with painting and drawing at least. she appreciated those who had that skill since she lacked. she might have had amazing linguistic abilities but her ability to draw was the same as that of a kid. however, she was sure that there would be people who would take her work as avant garde and unconventional. his question though pulled her out of her thoughts. âmmm calm determination⊠no..not exactly⊠i wouldnât call the expression as calm determination. itâs not about the expression . i canât explain it. but itâs the energy? the aura that shines at the moment that they immitate nature in protoâ sorry original ways and styles.â she really was one to slip. knowing too many languages would aways make her use words in her speech accidentally.Â
as the conversation took a different turn. mainly what he liked to pain rei once again leaned closer so she could hear him better as the music changed to something more upbeat. his words made her smirk. âso you have such inspirations? thatâs excellent.â she brought her glass back to her red lips sipping the alcoholic drink. his question at the time was enough to make her cough. âwhat? me? unfortunately no. but i would like to some day. are you offering to do so?â she asked him curiously. âwe did but iâll gladly give you my name again, after all we heard a lot of names tonight. daidouji rei. et tu? i mean.. and you? whatâs your name?â she  tilted her head , a soft smile once again spread accross her full lips.Â
the night was not as young however reiâs hope that she found someone she could enjoy talking and flirting with had once again been renewed. she drunk the rest of her drink in one go closing her eyes as it burnt her throat but immediately worked itâs wonders. her inhibitions were crushed for the time being. she wasnât tipsy anymore but was getting to closer to getting drunk. reaching for the bottle that they had on the table she refilled her glass. âdo you stay in this hotel too by the way? iâm in room 304. you?â

Tada took note of her displeasure (after all, it wasnât very subtle) and had a good, if ironic, chuckle in his head. Clearly heâd majored in the wrong area. Her description, however, redeemed her in his eyes. Substantially. Not many could appreciate the creative and often emotional energy that enveloped an artist and their work space as they created. In fact, not many noticed it at all. Perhaps she was more versed in the arts - or at least the appreciation thereof - than he anticipated. One way or another, it made his curiosity rise, and with the way his head was swimming, the rise was much akin to what a river looked like after a monsoon.
âIâm impressed,â he began, leaning his elbows on the table as he became more engaged and comfortable with the conversation. âItâs unusual for people to appreciate the environment an artist creates as they work. Usually itâs all about the piece, not the process of making it. The feeling, or the aura as you put it.â
Heâd almost forgotten the question heâd posed, or what heâd been saying previously. What on earth was wrong with him? âHm.â He bought himself a little time, strangely comfortable with the increasing lack of distance between them. âAh, that is, the offer stands if youâd like me to. Not necessarily in nude repose, of course,â the artist quickly added, not quite out of his head enough to let himself seem entirely unprofessional. âBut whatever youâd be comfortable with.â
It was her mix of languages that caught his attention next. She was turning out to be a very interesting person, and not at all what he expected to find at a foreign gĆkon. âTadatsune,â he answered casually, too unknowingly inebriated for protocol. Besides, it was a little late for that. âOtonori Tadatsune. Though âTadaâ is fine, in this situation.â
Tomorrow, once the hangover kicked in and realization of what had happened this evening dawned on him, it was hard to tell what would kick in first - anger or regret. In the moment, however, he was hammered and entirely pleased with it. â1407. I prefer the views of the higher floors, theyâre particularly beautiful. Though,â he returned to his glass for a final sip, but cast his eyes her way briefly when he continued. He was not the most subtle or the most smooth man on the planet at the moment, and words heâd rarely say seemed to tumble out of his mouth. âNot as beautiful as some things.â
@scarletxaya
jasmine felt slightly disappointed that he didnât want an anime like hairstyle and color. it was evident that she preferred when she did those however âthe customer is godâ was what japanese people said and so she had to follow the rule. âi see.â she quickly prepared one of the chairs for him as he spoke. âplease have a seat.â she quickly went to get from the counter the album with the hairstyles she has done on men with long hair and placed it in front of him.Â
âplease pick which one of these is more to your liking and i will change your hairstyle exactly as you want it to be!â she quickly stretched her hand to catch the handle of the trolley and pull it closer. various brushes and scissors and the electric shave machines were placed on the various levels of it. âby the way. call me jasmine! so did you decide the style?âÂ
@tadatsune
One of Tadatsuneâs eyebrows perked; he could tell she was disappointed, and he couldnât help but feel his curiosity rising. How often did she do alternative hairstyles? Did he really come to the wrong place? A bit of nervousness crept up on him (though he was determined to ignore it) as a concern grew she might do something completely different than what he wanted. Heâd been growing his hair out several years now; it would be a shame if he had to cut it all off.
He followed her to the chair and sat down, crossing his legs and nodding politely in thanks as she passed over the album. He flipped through it studiously, his expression changing occasionally in reaction to some of the more extreme hairstyles. When he finally found one that matched his tastes, he looked back up. Thankfully, just in time for her question.
âJasmine? You have a very unique name.â He nodded, images of the flower immediately popping into his head.Â
âI am Taâ Otonari is fine,â he corrected himself mid-sentence, opting for a more appropriate approach, as he saw it. He thought it would be untoward to be so casual in a professional setting. âYes, I have. What do you think of this one? I believe the term is âlayeredâ? Maybe not so... flat. Whatâs the word? More âbody?ââÂ
@madamarasi
âHuh. I guess you have more talents than I was previously aware of.â
âWhy does everyone always say that?â Tadatsune chuckled just a tad wryly, though mostly amused as he was packing away his brushes. âIt must be the âEnglish teacherâ aspect.â
He passed over the finished painting, pleased with how itâd come out despite the short time heâd taken to work on it. After all, he hadnât expected to be painting anyone this afternoon, and their setting in the middle of a busy cafĂ© certainly wasnât the most ideal for watercolors. However, the leather bound kit of art supplies he always kept in his bag had once again proven itself a handy thing to carry around.
âI do hope you like it. Not my best work, but,â he paused to grin in jest. âItâd be unfortunate if you saw it as mediocre only.â
