The “help Tad get a new studio easel SALE”. All of these are $250. Comment, message, or email, [email protected] to buy one. Thank you! This is only going to last a couple days. https://www.instagram.com/p/B5fx_guBVgR/?igshid=1bx3p0axrvri2
Painted this on location in the summer. Then a month or so ago I noticed it parked in the same spot with better lighting so I continued on it. The past few weeks I’ve been adding and adjusting every few days. Really fun way to work. "Car study" 5.5x8 in. A couple months ago I was sick for the first time in like 2 years so I sat out in the driveway all day doing little paintings of these three containers. Here is one of them. #oil #oilpainting #stilllife #art https://www.instagram.com/p/B5QuNUXBuj7/?igshid=2onr46plmxek

"The Week in Saranac" acrylic on board. 7.25x12 in. Available Some recent paintings I've been working on. All are for sale. A lot of people have asked where my next trip is to, but I have been really enjoying staying home where I'm deeply familiar with everything. I have been wanting to push some ideas and work from reference that has been piling up. By not traveling I have been able to take the time and work on some skills, techniques, and ideas that have been interesting me for months. These somewhat insignificant or overlooked subject matters are just what I needed to be able to push my imagination on them and interpret them in a personal way. When traveling and seeing new things constantly it is just overwhelming. All the new information your taking in results in "overwhelmed painting". The need to paint everything and paint it exactly the way it is. This isn't what interests me anymore. It really takes months, years of acquainting yourself with something to see it in a poetic way. https://www.instagram.com/p/B4-gicnB-7B/?igshid=1296y5i2hklj9

I painted this right at the beginning of fall. I was exploring areas of busy, scraped, wiped paint application and then areas with simple deliberate brush work. #oil #oilpainting #art #artist https://www.instagram.com/p/B4fp_oHBJBw/?igshid=667ju7vvh5ix
