first half of pursuit of jade was glorious but i fear the second half was a complete trainwreck

#pursuit of jade #last couple episodes felt like the resolution to a better written drama than what we actually got does that make sense #also if i hadn’t seen a post abt yu qianqian transmigrating in the novel i fear that convo she has with qi min would’ve been lost on me #annddd i lowkey didn’t like the ending any of the characters got!! how can they return to linan if he’s prince regent?#also changyu didn’t really want to fight or be a minister and now the two of them are just going along with it?#qianqian explicitly said she didn’t want to be the empress and it also feels sad for bao’er that he’s trapped on the throne now #idk it just felt. off
