It's a bit long so here it is… this is all IMO all people could have their own so don't rage. I'm a Suminji fan… But like other Seju fan out there I always get frustrated whenever I saw ilogical things some people are commenting, basing it in their own bias feelings and just hating the character focusing in that small piece of the puzzle and forgeting the whole picture. As for Seju. Some people are saying she should just die, she’s a manipulative witch, she doesn’t have any good quality…. It’s just sooo sad. I’m not saying she isn’t bad, because oh hell yes she was a freaking BITCH(sorry Seju fans haha) but I don’t hate the woman I just feel bad for her really really really bad. Just b'coz u hate someone u woudn’t try to understand her. They’re only seeing the bitch part. (Oh she did that wat a bitch, it’s because of her Sumin is… Wat a bitch, manipulative blah blah blah wat a bitch) people wouldn’t try to see d reason y she was like that. Seju grew up in a place, yes place you couldn't called such a place home. Were all d peole in it saw her as an abomination and a father who should protect but done nothing and just watch d mistreatment of the legal his own family. Remember I’m not really sure but base on the hint her mother commit suicide w that same mistreatment I assume. so how much of a burden it is for a child wen even an adult escape to suicide than to endure it. The father only give her things gifts as compensations for the bad treatment. But wat are material things. She needs a father to protect her not all the gifts. Plus it only fires up the flame of jealousy of the family thinking the father pampering the abomination child well in fact it's just a compensation for all the crap she's getting. So as to what u say she respect her father... I do believe that Seju truly love her father and her father love her too and Seju knows it that's why she still respect him just... In a sense that he is STILL her father so... But as a human or as his own person that respect is nonexistent. She had learn to accept that her father wont stand up for her. And so she doesn't really care anymore about it. And as a child I bet even stepping even a single step in that place is a fight for her (u don’t have d right to step on here b'coz ur an abomination) she had been fighting just to have something, as her own. A place that she didn't even want to be in. I think she stay just b'coz her father wishes it. I'm surprise that after all this years she wasn't following her mother with all that crap in her life. How come? Why is that? That's where Sumin enter. All her life all Seju get from d people who suposed to be family are all hate loathing dissaproval. So that time when she met Sumin, a person not even a family someone who is not even related with her by blood. The one person who show who gave who make her feel that she was love, she's being cared for, being wanted. That moment her world change. Sumin change her bland forsaken dark world. Sumin has become her light. So all those people who say Seju didn't even love Sumin and only saw her as a thing of possesion I think it's just wrong. Seju did love Sumin she's just doing it wrong in her own bizzare way. The more apt way of sayin it is Seju worshipped Sumin. And the thoughts of losing Sumin she think she would die this new world with light will die. That's the reason she'd do everything and anything to have Sumin even if she become evil doing it. I understand why some people saw and think Seju treat Sumin as a possesion because in a way she really posses Sumin but not as a thing and she do love her no doubt. As for the intented setup, where people called her manipulative witch. Namie said to her you could have choose a better way to do it but you choose to hurt her. As what I'm saying Seju's been fighting all her life to get something as her own and now that something rather someone is Sumin. She's a pro at that having practice with all her loathsome brothers. and doing that plan is the highest percentage for her to win that fight. Sure ball with the plan Sungji will be out of the picture. And as for Sumin, Seju was still stuck to the routine that Sumin will always get back to her at the end of it if she got hurt after a bad relationship lasted. But things have already change. And this fight she's fighting for rn isn't like the other material things she's used to figth for with her siblings that will stay put and she would get the price if she won. Because Sumin is human who has her own free will and have a mind to think if enough is enough. They're already had been stuck for over ten years. And Seju is still stuck on that place continuing to sink thinking nothing will change while Sumin was already being pull out of the water back to the ship and starting to get her life back and move forward unlike Seju who is... Still stuck afraid to go back to that bland forsaken world she had before Sumin. Still thinking that if she lose Sumin she will go back to that dark place. When in reality Sumin isn't the world. She worshiped Sumin too much that she was now blinded. When u love someone u shouldn't put everything to the other person there should be balance, but for Seju, Sumin is her world. For the past ten years her relationship w Sumin all they have been doing is pull on each other down sinking unable to move forward they aren't really together but in a way she had some hold on Sumin, and Sumin although barely was in a way still was holding onto her also. It's a cycle that they didn't realise it had become a routine that's not even healthy, but at that moment they both sinking but at least Seju was sinking together Sumin she still have her although in a bad way. So when Seju realise that Sumin was already being pull out the water she felt afraid. As I said she'll do anything even bad things. Until now we saw that she's still holding on to Sumin. We can only guess what plan is brewing in her mind already. At that very exhausting complicated relationship. Someone was bound to snap out of it. Had a grip on reality and realised this had to stop. And it was Sumin who did that, not without the help of a certain blond woman of course. Connection to someone isn't measured by how long relationship had been, how much u had love d person or how long u had known this someone even if u know that person all ur life. Well it's a plus factor but... Even long time friends or long time lover can be cut down and be mere strangers by a certain circumstances. I think the bond u create experience on the journey u both walk in through thick and thin would be important too. Suminju may have had that strong and happy moments in the beginning of their relationship but that past ten years of pulling each other down was overpowering those beginning happy days and it just, just imposible to go back to. So the thought of Suminju getting back together was really not possible anymore for me. Sumin had already let go of her hand trying to go up while Seju is holding on to Sumin's foot trying to drag her back to her. In a way I think it's a good thing that she's still holding into Sumin, maybe seeing Sumin letting go of the past and getting back with her life being able to smile again genuinely being happy will help her realise that theres more to life than just revolving into Sumin's world. Them being not together doesn't mean Sumin didn't care about her anymore, b'coz she freaking still care about her obviously. Its just that Sumin learn to accept d now and just because they aren't together means d past didn't happen or matter. She should realised that she can still be happy even without Sumin as a center in her life. The best thing that should happen for Seju is for her to wake up and help herself. She should accept what is happenin to the now and stop clinging to the past that's impossible to go back to and find something or someone to be happy with without the burden of the past. What's done is done, u cannot piece back up a thing that's already been shattered, through persistent it may be plausible but you can never erased the fact that it is already broken. It will never ever be d same again no matter how much u tried to fix it. As I said I don't hate Seju I feel bad I'm concerned for her. I feel bad but not at the point of pity. The woman she's confident gorgeous smart to top it all she had the wealth to live her life the way she want too the only missing piece of her is the acceptance part and to be happy with her life. A person like that isn't worth to be pitied. I just hope that at the end of this story Seju will be free. I'm expecting drama, drama and more drama with this last few chapters remaining in this manhwa. For those who is complaining if why did team gaji still showing flasbacks of Suminju being together and saying it will never change the fact that Suminji is together now anyway. Ask urself, the impact of Sumin and Sungji being together how deeply would u understand it if it doesn't for those and would u create the perception of the weight on how the character is going through if it wasn't because of those flashbacks. And also for those who is saying this will end up as a threesome. Be rational people do you think after all this crap that happen, it will end up as a threesome. If it did happen that is just one hell of a bullshit fanservice, in the beginning they should have done that and didn't start the drama afterall. and I doubt it would tho, threesome is a no no no. This long written thoughts had been spark up by a certain comment on wdtfs fanpage in fb.
